During our last trip to Rome, we ran out of wipes to clean my son’s hands and face. I forgot to check how much wipes I had packed in my son’s nappy bag and just assumed we had enough until we get back. I think we were just on the first two days of the vacation when our pack finished. Well, my son loves to eat using his hands especially if it’s pasta so we used more wipes than ever during our family trip to Rome. As a result, we needed to buy a product that is suitable for a baby’s sensitive skin.
We realized early on that most of the products sold in groceries around Rome did not have an English translation for its list of ingredients. The convenience store near our AirBnb apartment did not have a specific “baby section” for sale so it was a bit difficult to decide whether the wipes there are good to use for the baby. Luckily, we decided to check a pharmacy and relieved to find a baby section there! We still couldn’t understand the ingredient list but when we saw wipes for Hipp, we knew that we are certain it is indeed for babies! I am mostly familiar with the brand for its ready-made baby food so seeing wipes by the brand signaled that it is the right product for wipes, too!
We bought a pack and liked the subtle fresh scent from each wipe. The wipes weren’t too thin as well so we were able to use just a couple of pieces to clean my son when he eats pasta using his bare hands. The scent lingers on for a few moments and it resembles the scent if using soap. Overall, I was happy with how it smelled not to mention that it did not cause any allergic reactions to my son’s skin. Apart from that, the wipes were not sticky and only left a fresh, clean feeling after using.
Hipp baby wipes quite good. I might not buy it as often since it is a little bit more expensive than the wipes I usually buy (grocery brand). I was OK paying a little bit more for a brand like Hipp but I realized that the wipes quickly dried a couple of weeks after opening. It still smelled really nice but the leftover wipes were already completely dry! It was unfortunate since I haven’t encountered this from any wipes I bought before not to mention that we are still using wipes at the same frequency as before. As a result, I wasn’t too happy with the product. I’d probably select other brands I have used a lot in the past instead of buying Hipp baby wipes in the future.
Overall, Hipp baby wipes are nice and can be a good alternative if there are no other baby wipes out there. But I will not make it as my first choice because it easily dried up.

Thanks for the article! I didn't know HIPP had baby wipes too. We do use HIPP's organic formula. Did you try it? That too smells nice, compared to all the artificial formulas out there. And the kids love it.
