In the 7th match of the ICC cricket world cup, England was against the Kenya. This game was played on St Lawrence Ground, Canterbury, England on 18th May, 1999.

And England team and 11 was looking like: Andrew Flintoff, Darren Gough, Neil Fairbrother, Nasser Hussain, Alec Stewart (c & wk), Graeme Hick, Graham Thorpe, Alan Mullally, Mark Ealham,Robert Croft, Ian Austin
Kenya started well but soon they lost their way. They got good start from the likes of R Shah and Steve Tikolo who combined a good a partnership. R shah made 46 runs in 80 balls with 4 4’s and strike rate of 57 runs in 100 balls and Steve tikolo made 71 runs in 107 balls with 7 4’s at the strike rate of 66 runs in 100 balls. Later order sensation and Kenyan Star all rounder Thomas odoyo also batted well for his 34 runs in 32 balls with 3 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 106 runs in 100 balls. Kenya was bowled out for 203 runs in 49.4 over’s, so they couldn’t even bat their full 50 overs.
England were required to chase 204 runs in allotted 50 over’s.
England started superbly with the contributions from Alec stewart and Nasser Hussain who made 88 runs in 128 balls with 11 4’s and 1 six at the strike rate of 69 runs in 100 balls and G Hick who made 61 runs in 89 balls with 9 4’s at the strike rate of 69 runs in 100 balls. They both remain unbeaten and England completed the target in only 39 over’s and won the game by 9 wickets.
Steve Tikolo was awarded the Man of the match for his brilliance in batting and all round performance.

You are the only writer writing hard here. I am not anymore active. This site did not pay me for my blogs I wrote in January almost 40 blogs and I redeemed $20 which successfully done, but sad they just ignored my redemption. They had many unbelievable explanations. What do you noticed now? There are only few writers ; many are gone , feeling discouraged.There were so many here they did not pay. I have just learned from the previous active writers here.
