Batting is the most important part or department of cricket and not from now but is from very early times. Most teams used to have very Good batsman and they always dominate cause the bowling of the teams are not much developed in that time and present day Spin Bowling and Swing is not much associated in earlier times and in those times they used to play on very flat pitches which have no life and batsman can just sit back on back foot and he can play in whatever direction he wants to play. And I think cricket is quite similar to Baseball due to batting in cricket because here as well the batter needs to play the ball and hit the ball hard so that he can score runs or run as well. Anyways, cricket is headed by the International Cricket Council and it has its head quarter in UAE now and the famous club MCC makes the rules for the game and amend them from time to time as well.

Recently it has changed the rules and now free hit is awarded for every no ball that means no ball for over stepping the crease, or if the ball was above the waist or even if there were less fielders in the inner circle or if the bowler disturbs the stumps while bowling, Every such incident will be called as no ball and then the batting side will be awarded a free hit on that ball the batsman cannot be out except run out, so that gives the batsman opportunity to hit the big shot and make the opportunity count, but after that rule change more than 60 % bowlers has either reduced or even stopped bowling any no balls cause it will only make life difficult of the bowling team and Bowler and will benefit the Batting side and give them an upper hand in the match which will and can prove crucial to the winning or losing of the match.
