Bangladesh Wiped out of the CWC 1999 by West Indies

In the 12th match of the ICC cricket world cup, Bangladesh was against the West Indies team. This game was played on Castle Avenue, Dublin, England on 21st May, 1999. West Indies hold the upper hand in this game.

West Indies Started very well and with the contributions of S Campbell who made 36 runs in 70 balls, R Jacobs the West Indian Wicket Keeper batsman who made 51 runs in 82 balls, Jimmy Adams who made 52 runs in 82 balls with 6 4’s and captain Brian Lara who made 25 runs in 25 balls with 4 4’s at the strike rate of 100 runs in 100 balls, they reached the target score in 46.3 over’s and Won the game with 7 wickets in hand and still 21 balls remaining in the game.

Courtney walsh was the Man of the Match for his 4 wickets and conceded only 25 runs in 10 over’s.
