Google is quite regular in providing better stuffs with new version. So far Google has launched total 6 versions of android and last one was Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Honesty saying there are many users having phones which are still running Android 5.0 lollipop version and they haven’t used Marshmallow version yet. And now they already launching new version of Android. Yes Google is about to launch new version of android which is android 7.0. So far I have little information regarding this version which I want to share here. Let’s go.
Last android version is 6.0 (I don’t know why I am calling it last as many users still never used it) and its name is Marshmallow. As we all know Google is going with alphabet for naming purpose, so now it is it will be Android N. But full name of Android N is Android Nougat. I tried to search meaning of its name on Google and it shows “sweet made of honey”.
Honestly saying there is not particular date. But as per rumors it will be available soon by Google, may be on this month or next month. So there is no official announcement about the release date so far.
As it is only available to developers for testing purpose, I still don’t have used it personally. I have nexus phone so maybe I can have update soon after they launch it officially. But I have read lot about it on internet and from it here are few new features which will be available with new update.
Notification: We always found something new in notification area whenever Google come with new android version. So we can expect something new this time too. I have heard that now they have made few changes by changing icons and make it more clear to enhance user experience. So we will have better notification with new update.
Multi Window: Well, finally android will give option to have multi window on the display. So now you can run two or more applications simultaneously. I must say this option is already available on Samsung and few other mobiles since long ago. But now we will have it directly from Google as default option. It is kind of useful feature though.
Doze for battery saving: Google has started this doze feature since last android version Android 6.0. But I have heard that with latest version of android Google will upgrade this feature and make it better in compare to past. So it will save more battery for your phone. May be they are saying it as Doze on the go.
New camera application: Finally they are giving new camera app with new android version. I was waiting for this. I have heard that this new camera app is having lots of good feature for taking photos. It is having better options to take photos with manual settings now in compare to last application.
VR option: I am talking about virtual reality. I am not sure about this feature but they are going to give something related to VR. Let’s see what they have to provide.
So this is it. I am sure many users are having huge hopes from this new release. Let’s see what Google has with its new Android Version.

Thanks for the information. I am still using gingerbread version and now here comes android Nougat! I think I am left behind. lol. I am eyeing a phone but it is lollipop version and thats fine with me as long as the camera provides quality photos that can be shared on different social media sites.
Ginger bread is too old. I think this is high time for you to upgrade your phone. Yes Lollipop can still considered as new so I think it will be fine. You can go for it. As it is supporting most of the software and social sites. About camera stuff, I don't think it is related to android version. It is depend on hardware, so you need to found good hardware if you want to have good camera. Best of luck.
It is good to see newer version of Android coming up, but the space and data usage requirements are a bit high on our phones.
What do you mean by data usage and space? I mean if we install new version of android then it will took over space of the old one. So it will not create any problem regarding space. With new version we always will have something new features and lot more. So I won't mind using data for updating to new version of android either.

Yes sometime it is too boring to keep one thing for so long. So even I am waiting for this thing. It is already out for many devices. But still it is not available for any of my device. I guess I have to wait for it. But hope it will not take too much time, I mean google is always fast in releasing new version and we are yet to use the old one. Lol.
I have use marshmallow but it is not that much changed from lollipop in look wise. Yes there are few new features with it. Let's see if there are any changes in look wise with this latest android version.
Sometimes, there are minor changes which do not help much. At other times, the changes are noticeable.
That is true for some small updates. But if we talk about whole new android version then surely they have many more things to give. Yes visually you will not see any difference. But if you will compare their features then surely you will see many important changes for sure. I have notice this thing many time when Google update their new version. In past I was thinking that there are not much difference but I guess I was wrong.
