    • You say right in words are hidden human wills and intentions that show the speaker’s conscious but a few people know it and understand it but most of the people do not pay attention to the spoken words and get deceit while talking from the speaker.

We live and breathe words. …. It was books that made me feel that perhaps I was not completely alone. They could be honest with me, and I with them. Reading your words, what you wrote, how you were lonely sometimes and afraid, but always brave; the way you saw the world, its colors and textures and sounds, I felt–

I felt the way you thought, hoped, felt, dream. I felt I was dreaming and thinking and feeling with you. I dreamed what you dreamed, wanted what you wanted–and then I realized that truly I just wanted you,

My task, which I am trying to achieve is, by the power of the written word, to make you hear, to make you feel–it is, before all, to make you see.

    • You are right in your analysis. We do not listen to others rather we are always interested in talking. We want others to listen our great words and if they do not do so, we get irritated. We feel embarrassed and consider it our insult.
You wrote well but I would like following words to the great post written by you.

Listening is not that easy rather one must practice this art. It will require a lot of patience to practice this art. I am also a bad listener. I start talking between some conversation. I consider it a bad habit.

      • It is not easy. That’s why I suggested one practice listening to the BBC. After awhile one hears ‘between the words’. For example, one can tell which side the sports broadcaster backs by how he reports.

When someone is talking, don’t think of what you are going to say when s/he stops, listen now.

You have to go back to early 80s to find American products dominated the shelves of 3rd and 4th world nations.  Since then, China has quietly moved in, supplying cheaper products.

It has entered Africa, the […]

    • China is a great giant, and is still progressing by leaps and bounds. You can consider the CPEC agreement of CHINA and Pakistan. China has the guts to invest and thats why it has the right to enjoy the benefits associated with these investments.

      • China sees a market and goes for it. It sees what people want and supplies it, much cheaper than others can.

    • China is on the world stage for a reason. I always thought the reason was just to keep balance in the world order and provide some competition to other countries in the international arena. Notice I didn’t say “balance and harmony”. Also notice that I did not say “friendly competition”. China has set their mind to accomplishing certain things and are on their way. Though many disapprove, especially because they ignore human rights while being on their way, it would not be wise to ignore the ten thousand pound gorilla in the midst of the nations. 🙂

      • My friends in Africa mentioned how China ‘invaded’ there markets, and shortly after, they invaded ours. As I mentioned in the article, it is almost impossible to find a Non-Chinese item in a shop. Whether you want a TV, a perculator, a microwave…. China.

    • Yes, there is a time to sow and there is a time to reap now the time USA trade flourishing has gone and on the contrary China has taken commercial time in his hand. I think Chin trade time will also pass one day and any other country will take its place.

The U.S. trade deficit with China was $365.7 billion in 2015 This is a new record, up slightly from last year’s record of $343 billion.

The trade deficit exists because U.S. exports to China were only $116.2 billion while imports from China hit a new record of $481.9 billion. The deficit keeps growing because imports are rising faster than exports.

The United States imports consumer electronics, clothing, and machinery from China.

A lot of the imports are from U.S.-based companies that send raw materials to China for low-cost assembly. When they are shipped back to the United States, they are called imports even though they are profiting American-owned companies. (Source: “U.S. Trade in Goods With China,” U.S. Census.)

The main cause of deficit of USA trading china in recent years as Quite simply, China can produce goods that Americans want at the lowest cost. How does China keep prices so low? Most economists agree that China’s competitive pricing is a result of two factors:

A lower standard of living, which allows companies in China to pay lower wages to workers.
An exchange rate that is partially set to be always priced lower than the dollar

The U.S. trade deficit with China means that U.S. companies that can’t compete with cheap Chinese goods must either lower their costs or go out of business. Many businesses reduced their costs by outsourcing jobs to India and China, adding to U.S. unemployment.

Other industries have just dried up. U.S. manufacturing, as measured by the number of jobs, declined 34% between 1998 and 2010. As these industries declined, so has U.S. competitiveness in the global marketplace. (Source: “Employees by Industry

When you are a child, your parents will probably make some promise that will never happen.  “When you are sixteen we’re going to buy you a car, so have to save up now!”

They say that when you ask for this […]

    • Yes, in childhood parents make promises with children but some of them are fulfilled and some of them are buried in the lie grave for ever due to poverty otherwise no parents make false promise with their children. Only the politicians make false promise with the mass and because their parents do not fulfilled their promises that is why they do not fulfill the public promises.

Every politician knows that the key to winning elections is to make great promises. Campaigners promise to cure the ills of society including taxes, war, government corruption, and pollution. Instead, if elected, they will bring about vast improvements in education, employment, infrastructure, and the economy.

If politicians are ever to be able to lead, there will have to be an end at some point to the negative expectancy disconfirmation effect. We have to learn to trust again. Great leaders require not only the ability to take bold action, but the willingness of citizens to allow them to try to win without having to make wild and unrealistic promises. On the morning after, it would be nice to wake up and be able to feel that whoever won or lost, the change is one we can truly believe in.

If adults become disaffected by the political process then what people fear about our society being in decline will come true. Keep a balanced but positive perspective on the democratic process for the sake of the next generation.

    • I just told someone just how important Vitamin D is two day ago. Alot of people do not know what they are missing and how important it is, sometime we just need to take a walk outside…..that’s all it takes!!

      • Exactly! Humans were not born to live in Caves… take shelter yeah… but be in the sun. Or else we wouldn’t be able to metabolism sunshine. I was surprised to see the BBC item just after I had mentioned it.

    • Sun bath is a better idea to improve the Vitamin-D contents in our body. Doing so is free and very easy. You just need to sit and consider your job done. Rest of the duty is to be done by the Sun.

It becomes difficult to take vitamins orally and it costs a lot. Oral intake is not that effective.

      • Exactly. Simply go and bake in the sun for awhile. You will feel better. The Vitamin D is quickly absorbed.

    • If you want to lower your blood pressure, vitamin D may be just what the doctor ordered.

If you’re trying to reduce your risk of diabetes or lower your chances of heart attacks, rheumatoid arthritis, or multiple sclerosis, then vitamin D should be at the front of the line in your daily supplement regimen.

As the research into vitamin D is accumulating, it’s hard to know where the accolades should start. “Activated vitamin D is one of the most potent inhibitors of cancer cell growth,” says Michael F. Holick, PhD, MD, who heads the Vitamin D, Skin, and Bone Research Laboratory at Boston University School of Medicine. “It also stimulates your pancreas to make insulin. It regulates your immune system.”

    • it seems very hard and not easy to see feel that unemotional feeling

    • Children never hare parents because men cannot hate their own body part infected or healthy so far as the children hate parents question is concerned it is no problem, yea, when parents hurt the children’ ego and self public respect they start hating the parents and their reason is right.

Everyone know that children hate parents but one tries to know why the children hate and what are the real causes of hate. I am a professional a sstrologer on internet and Fiverr.com. Most of the questions I receive belong to children hate parents and when i trace the the real causes of hate I came to know that the children’s self respect an ego both made hurt by parents.

Thus children fall prey to loneliness and bad habit and adopt other means to pass time and tell their sorrows to other friends and thus they guide then what to do in this condition in the light of their life experience.

Parents children is a deep link and no parent ignores it but I wonder I have seen many children to whom parents pay no attention at home and remain busy with useless works. Keep in mind situation shapes children’s trends for future years.

But the situation creator become parents at home and thus children parents hate start. I think, parents must mend their behavior at home and pay some attention to their children leaving day and night railleries.

kaylar wrote a new post, Just Walking Away is Not Enough 7 years, 10 months ago

Things happen in life.   One experiences various unpleasant events.  Whether it is the Nanny who poisons the child’s mind against the parent, whether it is the abusive man who uses his wife for a punching bag, o […]

    • I don’t think Jody needs to go over the “Yvette inputs”. Jody could just make a conscience decision to just start over with her mother again using a “clean slate”. Start a brand new relationship. Why not? Her mother started out their relationship in their lives when Jody was a “blank slate”.

Any child that doesn’t give their parent honor and respect is likely going down the wrong path. That’s generally speaking. Yes there are some parents who have mistreated their children and abused them. But even they can be forgiven. Though they may have a created a “hell” for you (the child) when you were growing up under their roof, that doesn’t mean you have to stay in that hell now that you’re all grown up.

It’s your life now. Make the best of it. Don’t carry around grudges and bad memories. That’s just an extra unnecessary burden that you’re bearing. Sure! You’re damaged goods. But you’re sill here on planet earth! Childhood under a parent or parents usually only last about 18 years. After that most people live another 40 or 50 years. What are you going to do? Spend your entire life being miserable and unhappy? Once you walked out the door of your parents’ home you took charge of yourself! Any screw ups after that … it’s on you!

I can’t speak about an abusive relationship with a spouse from personal experience. But I dare say if you’re in a life and death situation on a daily basis, you need to run for your life!!

      • “Make Believe That Part Didn’t Happen” does not work. One can not pretend or decide to simply ‘block out’. One must confront the events. Nancy did the retrospective so that she could see how her Ex had pushed her, caused her to react, then could ‘punish her’.

Because she realised this, having to work with him on a project she was alert to the tricks he would use. So after a pleasant first contact when she made a suggestion and he jumped on the other side, expecting her to ‘defend’ her point and open the door to his attack she didn’t. She let it go.

This meant he had absolutely no power over her.

Jody can not ever develope a normal relationship with her mother until she fully examines what happened.

    • Those who stuff poison of in the children’s mid are those who become tired of husband’s negative behavior no change from the marriage to children’s birth and when they grow up women think to take revenge their husband I have seen they do right things because men take interest in other women I have received from many clients of different countries that their husbands take interest in other women ignoring their real wives. How can we mend them in positive ways.

When I make horoscope both of the I see and wonder husbands become fault and really they ignore their wives at homes and take interest in other women out of homes.

Well the topic is quite general and can be said to be an integral part of every couples’ life. Even the happiest couples have been failed to escape the fight phase between them even though they once thought that they are the perfect couple and nothing can wrong between them

Even though it sounds silly but it is indeed one of the main reasons of fights among couples. And in this case the patriarchy rules while they put the entire blame of taking hours to get ready on their female counterpart. While girls do manage to look stunning after hours of hard-work and ignoring with a smile all the rushes that their husbands try to put them through, yet little arguments or conflicts do take place because of this reason.

Some might say getting insecure is over possessiveness but at times it is justified as it might just be a word of concern from your partner’s side. Understanding your partner’s point of view is also equally important which most of the couple lacks to a great extent, and that is exactly where the blame-game starts.

      • Jody never analysed, never went through the events to understand what happened, and work it out. Nancy did.

Jody does not have a good relationship with her mother; the psychological damage is there. Nancy, having done this, was alert when her Ex tried to provoke her and came through the encounter stronger.

    • We all go through certain issues in life.difficulties are part and parcel of our lives we cannot even try to run away from it whatever we do. Parents have a really big role to play in a child’s life, And when that is not done that is when children go astray.
And then we are always told that as parents you should always be involved in the life of your child. It’s always good to know what they are up to, who they are talking to, where they go and so on and so forth. This way you will always know if a child is going astray or if there is something wrong with them even without asking.
Like in the case of jody , I am doubting that the mum was involved in her life. Looks like the house help did most of the things that the mother should be a been doing. From what I have read she probably had a lot of time with the kid to have been able to poison her against her own mother. She seems to have believed in her more than the mother because she was there for her more often. I feel when the child walked away to go and live with her aunt the mum should have been th3 authority there at that time and try and find the reasons why the child has taken such a drastic move, but she didn’t. The best thing that should happen right now, is not to bury the feelings of the past, but to walk path backwards with the mum and see where it all started. Then of course they will be able to find the root cause of that problem and find ways to resolve th3whole thing and get doubts out of their minds and shade off the hatred that has manifested in their lives for years. Only then will that get back to their nornal lives walking away from problems or misunderstandings never made anything better.

      • That is exactly what should be done. The mother had to work. The child, now adult, would understand that.

    • Yes, you say right but the year you write is true. keep in mind the accurate prediction of the Fire of London was William Lilly who predicted the Fire of London in 1666 when the bad fixed star will cross the ascendant of London and according to natural law fire will break out in the city. According to William Lilly prediction fire broke at 2 September 1666.

And it had It had destroyed 13,200 houses, 87 parish churches, 6 chapels, 44 Company Halls, the Royal Exchange, the Custom House, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Guildhall, the Bride well and other City prisons, the Session House, four bridges across the Thames and Fleet rivers, three city gates and made homeless 100,000 people, one sixth of the inhabitants.

After this Lily was called in the King’s Court to investigate how he predicted the year of destruction. He was charged of detective but Lily said thus:

When asked if he had foreseen in which year the fire would break out, Lilly said

“I did not, or was desirous. Of that I made no scrutiny”.

The Committee appeared to have been satisfied with his explanation and much to his relief, was thanked for his evidence, then dismissed.

But had Lilly been completely honest with them? A close inspection of the hieroglyphic in question reveals that he was not.

See Lilly’ hieroglyph of the fire

The exact date of the worst disaster that had ever befallen London and the time, within a few hours, were secreted within the drawing … and he knew it!

See Lilly’s horoscope for the Great Fire of London

He also knew that he could not publish nineteen drawings without some form of explanation, nor could he resist teasing his public and especially his fellow astrologers with his secret knowledge.

“Had the curtesie of the present times deserved it at my hands, thou hadst seene an Explanation of the sixteen Pages following, which in Aenigmaticall Types, Forms, Figures, Shapes, doth perfectly represent the future condition of the ENGLISH Nation and Commonwealth for many hundreds of years yet to come. If Providence shall hereafter assigne me a quiet life, and prolong my years, I may then perhaps leave unto the Sons of Art the several Changes of every Kingdome and Commonwealth in EUROPE, in such CARACTERS as these which now follow”.

    • It is fantastic to see the population of robots .. so few real people remain.

    • Every invention of man has a potential for misuse and abuse by someone. Either use the invention for good and do positive things with it or don’t. Computers, televisions, telephones, automobiles, etc.… it’s all the same. I remember when accounting spreadsheets were prepared with a calculator, a pencil and an accounting worksheet. I remember when Microsoft Excel was introduced into the workplace to do the same work I had been doing manually. I remember the typewriter and white-out. I remember typewriters with correctable tape. I remember word processors. Got the same job done only with the introduction of certain work tools, got the job done quicker. Computers are no different. Use them for good! Teach kids to use them for good! Human intelligence can never be replaced by a machine.

      • If I had a computer when I was at school, I could have done my research for my topics. I would have learned more. I could have understood why 1492, why Columbus, and tied it into the Bubonic Plague, and understood so much more. But computers weren’t invented. They are available now. Kids can have that homework and get online and get so much information.

        But they play mindless games.

    • Computer is the best invention of modern age but there are such people and students who misuse computers. They in stead of learning from computer watch pornography all day sitting at homes with friends is a wrong thinking for the children.

Computer technology has changed the way we deal with the world, from allowing us to communicate more efficiently to giving us easier access to cat videos. Newer generations are growing up with this technology, and while it does have its benefits, primarily in education and access to information,

it can also be detrimental to children during a very important time of growth. Too much computer use can affect children’s physiological and psychological health as well as social skills.

Constant computer use can affect a child’s attention span and focus. While some computer games have been shown to help a child develop certain cognitive skills, many games and other forms of computer entertainment do nothing to stimulate a child’s mind.

Constant switching between programs, games or videos makes it more difficult to focus on tasks for longer periods of time, and this can affect a student’s studies and grades. In more extreme cases, children with computer addiction will fail their classes completely.

      • I agree; computers have a very good upside. But the problem is the way they are used/abused and the fact that these aren’t learning games.

    • yes it did that to us and the whold people, computer is good and bad at the same time, the problem is like addition , i remember when i first wanted to use the pc, my friedn told me its addiction, i told her, no its not i can leave it any second i want, but now i agree she is right, i can not really leave it though it is making me laz
