Four years ago, I was told by our college dean to dance rock and roll to represent our department during the Christmas party.I do not know why I was not able to speak out my stand to say “no”, I just said sure . There were three of us to dance rock and roll by Elvis Presley, hehehehe all ladies and I was at the center of the stage in Grand Caprice at Lim Ket Kai Center. There were 3,000 attendees, faculty, heads, president of the university, board of directors, previous board members retied and guests from other schools. Also on that party were student assistants and academic scholars.

Then , were not part of the program, it was announced special number and people look around for they mostly have on them Program copy. I wore boots, jackets, shorts and hair so weird looking like a rocker. That is why when I came out form the faculty office, my students cannot recognize me hahaha, they thought I am a guest rocker,LOL.

We did our part with all the claps, thankfully, I did everything in the name of our department.Thank you for reading.

It is not easy to dance on stage with so many eyes watching you and never know if they like our presentation. That was an awesome experience in my life for the second time around. The first time I dance on stage was when the song Rosalinda was very popular when the tele novela character was so pretty Thalia. Her theme song became popular nationwide and that was the song that I dance together with the dancers in our school what I mean here were the school dancers in our campus. They were my back up dancers and partner also looked like Rosalinda’s partner Fernando who was so handsome.

For those who are from Philippines may surely remember that tele novela.I think that was in 2005. I was in the other school that year and transferred to a government39786_118505511534486_6075205_n[1]

run university where I am teaching now.Though I filed leave of absence because I am here in New Zealand, but anytime I come back to Ph, I always have loads.

Image here is me hehehe.

Well done¬†¬†cely, you danced on the stage is a very tough job moving body parts in a special way with the rhythm of poetry. Weeping, laughing, sing and dancing every women know since their births because these are part and parcels of women’s nature.

Well you got success in dance party and got popularity among the students and teachers> One benefit you got from it is you also developed your confidence of your body parts otherwise dancing is an art not known to all girls. It is the same case

Nor can you more judge woman’s by tears

And then by her shadow what she wears

dancing on the stage brought your hidden dance talent out of your soul and now you can improve it more with the passage of time.

j@hsayyar, Hi friend? You are so funny hehehehehe, my dancing is only good for myself sort of exercise to maintain my body figure and language,LOL. In case I am required to dance in a program or party, I never refuse for dancing is my passion.

I am Math, Physics and Differential calculus professor and dancing is just one way to ease my boredom and stress from work. You know teaching is laborious, therefore stressful. When I dance my stress disappears, plus it gives us good health. It makes our heart stronger and healthier too. You can also do the same way I do just to improve our physical health.

You look great @Cely. I’m sorry but I am not a dancer at all for any type of music. So you are bold to even get up and try. My son tells me not to even do it for myself. I tell him he shouldn’t look if he is that embarrassed. hehe. So I don’t dance. I have no rhythm. I wish I could dance.

@evilelf, hehehehe really? Just dance without following steps just for physical exercise. At first, that was what I did to do dancing without following steps until such time that I am When I am very good in swaying my body charrrrrrrrr, hehehe. When I am alone I dance , I also dance to forget tomorrow hahaha. I also dance to forget yesterday hahaha. There are so many good benefits in dancing. It energizes our body parts.

Just try dancing without following some steps, raise your hands, then count 1-5, then back put them on your hips, then count again 1 to five. What a marvelous feeling after dancing. Then shake your body and step your right foot, then back, then left foot then go back again to the previous steps, hehehehe. You will surely enjoy. Also have with you just slow rock or mellow music.
