I had a look at the members’ list and the last time they were active. Shocking. There are more here who have not been 3 days and over – even one year and over. What do they think? Just register and move away? For a site to be a success a lot depends on its members. It is a joint effort. In the initial stages there may not be expected results but patience will pay and so whoever you are just get back and be active.

I haven’t check out the members’ list until I read your topic here. It’s interesting to know more about our members. It seems like there are 390 members in the system. It seems like those members who were active over one year ago are the test users. The site seems to be alive after 26 April 2016, as the earliest post I could find in 2016 is on that date, though there were a few more in 2015. Support has mentioned the site didn’t go well at the beginning, perhaps it stopped for quite some time, until 2015 they had investor, then this site started again lately. I am sure some members think the pay rate is too low, so they do not want to return to the site. I have read many people are discouraged by the low earnings, especially the pay rate per post. I agree with you, at the initial stage, we just have to be patient. Moreover, I think we can always find ways to help us earn better here. Perhaps different people just have different interests, some might not want to wait and write more. 🙂 |

@Lee Ka You are really good in making investigations such as I never knew the earlier ones were on the ‘test’ list. Whatever be it as I have said somewhere unless members continue how can a site last and how can a site pay unless there are members that bring in revenue. We should rally round and see how it pans out even risking the possibility that we may never be paid and the site closes down.If one has that kind of mindset believe you me there will be a flood of members here participating. |
@grace I agree with you. In fact, if you see the site on daily basis, you will find the same few members who are active on a daily basis, who interact on forums and write blogs regularly. Such members are a handful. But at least these members are doing their best on the site and keeping it alive and kicking. Then there are some members who check in once in a while. Perhaps their offline jobs are keeping them busy or perhaps they are still waiting to see how the site fares. |

In any manner, we couldn’t compel those who were so lukewarm about the site’s activities. Let’s guess that they’re here to earn an instant money in the fastest and easiest way. They’re absolute wrong for such assumption. In everything a person does, he has to earn it. He has to work on it. There is no such thing as free. He has to exert or to stretch a muscle to attain it. Anyway, our performance here could be the best example for them to get back. The hard work that we are exemplifying and the patience that we carry along as we do our day-to-day routine here in order to get a “penny for our pocket.” |

@shaloo walia How can anyone just come to see how the site fares. They are a part of the site and if they are not around the site will not succeed. |
@nakitakona13 This site is young and they need us. As they say drops make an ocean. If all those who have registered come here just to boost the site rather than try to see what they can get that is a wrong approach. It reminds me of Kennedy’s quote Ask not what the country can do for you but do what you can for the country (lol) It is too early to expect results. I have taken the risk of being active here without knowing what is in store for me. |

@bestwriter Perhaps I am also a developer/programmer, we always create test user to test the system before it’s launched, but we usually deleted those test accounts before launching it. 😛 Yes, I agree with you. But I guess not everyone like to be the guinea pig to try out something new. I am fine with it, as I think it’s good to help and grow together with the company or site. I was working in a small company, and I think it’s a really good experience as I actually got to learn more, though the pay is lesser too. I think it’s always good to contribute, rather than just receive all the time. Moreover, if the company goes well, these are the people that the company/site treasure the most. There are just some people like to work in well established big company, but some would prefer to try out in small and new company. 🙂 I like what you said about “drops make an ocean”, and also the quote by Kennedy. I read this from Questions Behind The Questions book years ago, it’s about personal accountability. Do not keep blaming or asking “why me?”, but instead asking “why not me?” I can be the one who is going to work and solve the problem, not wait until others to solve it. 🙂 |

Everyone is spot on. People have to take risks to gain all things in life. Life itself is a risk, so why not spend some of your time on a site that just may be the answer for all of us. The pay is low but there are ways to increase it. @nakitakona13 said you have to earn your rewards. Nothing in life is free, but there are so many people that have the thinking that they should get rewarded for the least amount of work. I have worked with lots of people with this mentality and it is frustrating. I do not mind trying out this site and if it turns out bad then it is an experience. But what if this site really does take off and it is not a scam? Those that did not jump on board because it was not get rich quick deal will regret not having done so. I just want to explore all options and see for myself how far this site will go. The members are the ones that can help make this site a great place to work. I am actually surprised that there a re so many members since it is just a handful like @swalia said that are here and posting blogs and commenting on forums. Why are they here if they do not want to participate? |
Yes, I noticed about the members, I think people are looking at sites as a fast way to earn the BIG $! lol But this isn’t necessarily true, or they may hear or read negative things about a site after they join, so then they’re not active. |
@Lee Ka Spending a bit of time here will not hurt anyone instead it will ultimately benefit us. All should rally round. |
@JoDee Stout If a site stops paying then there is a cause for worry. But this site is just building up and they need our support. |
@morgoodie Very well said and very convincing. What’s in spending a bit of time and building up a site that is just showing up. We will benefit from it eventually. And what are we going to lose anyway. As you said it is an experience and let’s not forget we are interacting with lovely people here. |
@bestwriter, some times people like to hear/see people that have made payments, but you have to have members that are active to interact to make the money. Or people will violate the rules and spread gossip, that they weren’t paid. It’s with that kind of information, people are leary about a site. |
@JoDee Stout Just like you and me who have realised that members are the backbone I expect others to follow suit. |
