@swalia  You are strong to have succeeded in giving up both tea and coffee. I cannot do without tea. As I am writing this comment you must know I have just had a hot cup of tea that has pepped me. It is 4.30 in the morning here (lol)

@peachpurple I always like tea without sugar, even though I am drinking Lipton or Boh Tea brand tea bags, perhaps I am used to drink Chinese tea without sugar.

I am actually quite particular about food when I am breastfeeding, especially for the first few months. I totally stopped drinking coffee and wine since more than 8 years ago, when I planned to get pregnant, and until now I don’t drink them yet, even Chinese wine. So, I don’t get to enjoy those traditional Chinese confinement food which I like. I  have read that coffee and wine are not good for baby’s brain development.

I don’t eat garlic, onion and ginger too, for the first few months, because these are stimulating food, the taste are very strong, and the baby might not like them too.

@bestwriter Though I do not drink coffee now, my husband is drinking coffee every morning. So I got to smell the aroma of coffee in the morning, and I love it so much.

@slayer08 I like creamy and a little sweet coffee too, though I do not really like to eat sweet stuffs. Cappuccino is always my favorite.

I am more of a coffee drinker. But there are times that I take tea, too. I usually have 2 cups of coffee in a day- one cup when I wake up in the morning and another cup before retiring at night.

@jentleheart  – You are a moderate coffee drinker I notice. But do you not feel the need to have coffee with your breakfast?

@bestwriter. I usually have coffee when I get up in the morning. I take breakfast a bit later, coz I cook and prepare stuff for kids before they go to school. Or I have brunch instead.

@bestwriter Not strong at all dear! It took a lot of will power to resist coffee at least. It’s not difficult to avoid tea and coffee during summer but it becomes tough in winter. I don’t miss tea at all but I miss coffee especially hanging out with my friends at our favorite cafe.

I’m totally coffee addict, can’t survive a day without it 😛

I drink at least 4 cups coffee a day, to start my day, in the middle of day, around 4pm, and at night when i enjoy my leisure time.

But when i have a lot of works then, the number just jump up 😛

I know it’s not really good to get addict with caffeine, but i already on the stage that i’m gonna get headache and my brain seems can’t work if i didn’t have any coffee.

I also drink tea, but only sweet tea and lemon tea. Not a fan of green tea, it’s too bitter for me

Seems like you have become an addict and you are aware of it  Before it really goes out of hand do you have any plans to get over it?

Thank you guys!! I really appreciate it. I do love coffee.. Even when I roll my eyes while making a cup of it everyday cause no matter how many times I tell myself that I won’t drink another cup I always find myself making another cup. Lol.
