As we all known, there are few ways of earning at LiteracyBase. I would like to touch on two ways of earning and some tips on that.
For your information, the blog should be written in English but not other languages, I have came across some blogs which has been written in other languages that I can’t understand at all. According to some feedback of the user here, it could be some native languages of Philippines. I think the team of LiteracyBase has rejected all the blogs at the end.
Second, the length of the blog must be at least 300 words. Based on my experience, each blog can earn $0.15. I heard some veteran shared their experience that some quality of longer blog can earn up to $0.22, but I am not sure if this formula still working.
Hope some veterans can share with us on this.
Third, if you have a good idea would like to share in the blog, and you have written about 800 words, better to split into two blogs, so each blog can bring you $0.15 instead of $0.22.
More on the requirement of a blog and how to write a quality blog, you may refer to the link below:

Let me tell you the magic.
For each comment either at the blog or forum section, the length of the comment do matter.
Comments word count (approximate) earning
20-30 words $0.002
31 – 99 words $0.005
100 -160 words $0.01
more than 160 words $0.02
Hope you have better idea on how and why the earning varies, and enjoy writing and commenting here! Cheers!

Very well said. Yeah these things do help a lot, when i was new here, i confused a bit and almost were not able to post my blog for about 4 to 5 days. But now I am able to know some rules and this blog of yours will surely help me ans many other new bloggers and lb members here.
I don't think and I never heard of anyone getting 22 cents for posting blog, but 15 Cents, but yes I haven't tried posting a long 800 Words blog, i am blogging for about 330 to 400 words on an average and for comments, its sometimes difficult to comment for about 170 Words, so that it may earn 2 cents but still uts good and worth. Besides I am also still new here and learning with experience and will share my experience with You and other Literacy Base Members as well
You are on a roll. You should calculate how many words per day you write altogether ! I bet it could be a book or story literally. You have very much passion for your favorite sport, cricket.
Literacy Base is an outlet for all your cricket stories and works perfectly since there is even a Cricket category on here!
Keep up the great work, Mr. Lion.
Hi Ceci,
Thank you for sharing this information. I really should open word document up when I write comments to know how many words I am actually writing. I hope Literacy Base considers adding a word count on the comment screen in addition to the blog screen, so it would be much easier or us!
I am still learning my way around here, but it would make more sense to write blogs since its .15 cents per blog right? :)
OK Ceci. Somebody said you could earn more than 15 cents for a blog post which was an eye-opening and very helpful tip. But I did not know that the number of words in comments mattered. News to me!
But it really doesn't matter to me. I make comments according to what I'm trying to communicate. It could be as little as 20 words, but I do my best not to make my comments 300 words. If I find myself making a comment or contributing to or starting a topic in a group/forum and suddenly realize that can be turned into a blog post, it gets turned into a blog post! That's how it works for me.
What I'm trying to figure out is why my blog posts are being avoided? Nobody's commenting. Are my posts that boring or are they too complicated to understand?? (O.o) I need to find the "magic post formula" to get folks to comment AND share. Whew! It's a tough mission but I'm working on it! :) :D
Those are great statistics about word count for comments. I wish there was word count for our blogs.
Yes, as mentioned by @michelle and @bestwriter, it will be good if there is a word count tool at our blog section and even the comment section for ease our writing and number of word calculation.
Same here, Michelle, I am using a word document do calculate my word count for either blog or comments sometimes.
Dear @threathyl Fox, yes, some said we can earn more than 15 cents, if not mistaken, we might earn 22 cents if the length of blog has 500 and more words, but I am not sure now. It happened to those old days when the blogs are needed internal approval.
We are realized the blogs section is not as lively as the forum section, so no many comments will be appeared here, some times.
@Harpreet Singh, dear Mr. Lion, keep it up for your passionate games, cricket although Michelle and me know nothing about it.
We learn from each other here for better enjoyment and fun, cheers!
I agree, we have no clue on cricket but as long as Mr. Lion is happy - we are happy just we cannot add much input. Lol.
It would totally be nice with a word count tool but sometimes I do not feel like opening up Word because my screen is small as is, so I just type until the blog post allows it. As far as comments, I do not mind if I hit the correct amount or not, but if I do , YAY!!
When it comes to the blogs i am not sure because i am new here and haven't started blogging yet. I mainly put myself into commenting other blogs and surfing around to see how the site works.
I have, however, noticed the earnings due to length of comments also. I am usually a big commenter. If i comment on something then it is because i have something to say and i like to try and explain myself as much as i can.
I noticed the amounts due to length because i did make one or two comments a little smaller than most and saw the difference in the balance.
If what you say about the blogs are true about the 0.22 cents then i do believe that if you have a good idea for a blog and it is a bit long then you sould divide it into 2 blogs. I think it is a better choice, just like you said.
The blog is very informative. I'm a newbie on literacy base, I have found your blog very helpful. I have not yet written any blog, but with so much of information you have laid down Am sure I will be writing my first blog very soon. This has also encouraged me to make valuable comments.
