I am getting the little orange pop-up notifications for mentions but when I look in mentions or notifications, nothing is there. I hope I’m not missing anybody! I hope @support can figure out why the notifications aren’t displaying or redirecting properly….

@peachpurple I wish your son all the best with his exam! I hope he will achieve very good grades.

I just got my oldest daughter’s transcript of marks for the past 3 years in the mail today. I am very proud of her! She got very high grades.

In my time, they would have called her marks “high honours.” I think today, they only put “Achievement…[Read more]

Harsh words, Grace? Surely you overestimate how mean you are! I know when you grumble that you’re just feeling left out. Your bark has always been much bigger than your bite.

I tend to just pass over those words that are written when friends are being unkind, anyway. Most times, the deeper meaning is that someone’s feelings have been hurt and…[Read more]

I’m also having that same issue we had before, of the orange bars that have no notification in them and won’t go away. I’m trying to track what activity they might be related to, so they’ll go away…

I actually think the video has a very limited interest to most people. It would be good to have on a FAQ page where there are explanations about earning on LB. For recruitment purposes or to stimulate activity, they really ought to work on a shorter video with a human voice. It should be catchier, with a lighter tone, and not be so concerned with…[Read more]

Tanikka Paulk wrote a new post, Think “Prosperity” 8 years, 3 months ago

What we think can determine how well we perform. Our thoughts are important and we shouldn’t be consumed with thoughts that will decrease productivity. When we dream big, think about growth, and be apart of […]

    • Think positive is the way to go. Nothing is given to us on a platter that has no obstacles. Obstacles could be tackled if we have a positive attitude that nothing is impossible.

      • Some may have it easier than others but of course we’ll have to earn our keep. The key is to understand no matter what each person does there’s always a critic and we’ll need to find the best ways to deal with the critics. There’s plenty of ways to find peace no matter what’s said or done. Isn’t there?

    • ou can never create prosperity by talking or thinking about your lack of money. This is wasted thinking and cannot bring you abundance. Dwelling on lack only creates more lack. Poverty thinking brings more poverty. Gratitude thinking brings abundance.

There are a few negative affirmations and attitudes that are guaranteed to keep prosperity beyond your reach-for example: “I never have enough money!” That’s a terrible affirmation to use. Another unproductive one is: “Money goes out faster than it comes in.” This is poverty thinking of the worst kind.

The Universe can only respond to what you believe about yourself and your life. Examine whatever negative thoughts you have about money, and then decide to release them and let them go. They haven’t served you well in the past and will not serve you well in the future.

Sometimes people think that their financial problems will be solved by inheriting money from a long-lost relative or winning the lottery. Sure, you can fantasize about such things, or even buy an occasional lottery ticket for fun, but please don’t put a lot of attention on acquiring money in this way.

This is scarcity thinking, or poverty thinking, and it won’t bring lasting good into your life. Anyway, when it comes to the lottery, winning seldom brings positive changes into anyone’s life. In fact, within two years, most lottery winners have lost almost all of their money, have nothing to show for it, and are often worse off financially than before.

The problem with money acquired in this way is that it rarely solves any problems. Why? Because it doesn’t involve changing your consciousness. In effect, you’re saying to the Universe: “I don’t deserve to have good in my life except by a fluke chance.”

      • Sorry. Was unable to continue reading the comment. It appears to not have any encouraging words. A bit negative but each person has their opinion. Hopefully matters will get better. Tanikka Paulk wrote a new post, The Storm and the Calmness 8 years, 3 months ago

Sometimes we’re not prepared for a storm or storms. Sometimes there’s more than one storm at one time and when something like that happens. We may become overwhelmed. Life will consist of the unexpected and […]

    • The saying ‘After the storm comes the calm and after the calm comes the sunshine’ is common in our household.

    • Yes, it true that there will storm and after this will calmness just in human life first pain and after this calmness forever. For example, when we ponder over the labor pain after this this is endless pleasure for parents.

Pain and pleasure, light and darkness, storm and calmness, hate and love walk always side by side in human life. As it turns out, while human beings want to both avoid pain and gain pleasure, they will do more for one than the other. Avoiding immediate pain is much more motivating than gaining immediate pleasure. If there is a lion running after you versus a suitcase full of money in front of you, which would motivate the average human to act quickly?

Avoiding a certain amount of immediate pain wins over gaining immediate pleasure every time. Studies have demonstrated time and time again that people will do much more to avoid short term pain than they will to gain short term pleasure.

As time goes on, our perception of pain and pleasure changes. Every decision you make results in at least one or more of the following: short term pain, long term pain, short term pleasure or long term pleasure. Short term always wins over long term unless there is a substantial amount of pain or pleasure associated with the long term avoidance of pain or gain of pleasure involved. Pain, or the level of perceived pleasure decreases with time.

    • Indeed, sometimes the stormy moments we go through in life does not mean that we were bad people or that we are destined for destruction. Instead, the storms may be necessary to cleanse us what obstacles may be holding us back from doing good and being our best self. Sometimes the storms help us to rid ourselves of negative people who only seek to do us harm.

Tanikka Paulk wrote a new post, Accepting What is 8 years, 3 months ago

Somethings are hard for people to accept. Some may not accept ones ethnic background or accept what one’s accomplishments. When people aren’t accepting who we are, we shouldn’t fret, there’s way too many other […]

    • There are really people who will never accept us no matter what we do. Before, I always think what others will think of me whenever I do certain things. But then I realized that some people, no matter how good I am to them will never accept me just because I’m me. That’s when I decided to ignore what people might think of me. As long as I do the right things and I am happy, the thoughts of other people will not matter to me anymore.

    • My motto is “Love yourself and help save planet earth” When we love ourselves we will see to it that everything around is conducive to our living and that is how the planet earth will be taken care of.

And as for others accepting us that is not always possible. In Chemistry we learn how two acids clash while an alkali and an acid produces results.

    • What you are saying is very true. In life we will always have people who like us and those that dislike us or even hate us. We were born to have friends and foes in this life and they all have a part to play in our growth as people. We learn certain things from them that will propel us into doing the right things. And our enemies will put us certain situations that will make us change how we think and how we treat others. So for me I don’t expect to be loved by everyone around me because if everyone was good to me how will I get to know that I am doing something wrong or I am hurting somebody else’s feelings. Those are some good points you have shared.

    • I think accept everything on earth keeping in mind to repair it or correct it or mend if has any flaw. It my principle of life. I accept many friends that had many flaws but slowly and slowly I mend their negative trends into positive trends.

If you positive everything will be positive that will come in your way. Because it a solid law that salt makes salt if you put any thing in salt for a long time.

“People tend to be generous when sharing their nonsense, fear, and ignorance. And while they seem quite eager to feed you their negativity, please remember that sometimes the diet we need to be on is a spiritual and emotional one. Be cautious with what you feed your mind and soul. Fuel yourself with positivity and let that fuel propel you into positive action.”

Sometimes we may not see a blessing in dim situations but there is good even when it doesn’t appear as so. If we look close enough then we’ll find the “blessing.” Sometimes just sitting back and pondering a bit […]

    • We’ve always been told that when you fall pick yourself up, dust yourself and move on don’t sit there and start crying over spilt milk. If you fail once that doesn’t mean that you will fail forever, many have tried and failed but that doesn’t mean that they stopped trying you keep on trying until you get to where you want to be. That is what determination is all about, and with determination comes blessings. You cannot get blessed when you are afraid to try and fail several times. Blessings always unfold around us and it is only those who give themselves second chances that are able to see those blessings. You cannot see them when you fail once and give up totally you have to push on to get the fruits that you are endevouring for.

    • It is right that when we ruminate all around us we find blessings in different shapes as parents are blessings, sisters and brothers are blessings, teachers are blessings, friends are blessings, all fruits and vegetables are blessings, doctors are blessings, God commandments are blessings that show the right path to human beings.

God promises that if we will concentrate on blessing others, he’ll take care of our needs. There’s almost nothing that God won’t do for the person who really wants to help other people. In fact, God guarantees this blessing. In Luke 18, Jesus says, I guarantee this. Anyone who gives up anything for the kingdom of God will certainly receive many times more in this life and will receive eternal life in the next world to come.

How do you bless others? By serving a need, whether it is physical or emotional support, financial help, or practical advice. “Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand” (Philippians 1:4).

      Deuteronomy 28:1-68

“And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God.

Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your cattle, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock. Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl. …
