Tanikka Paulk wrote a new post, Hate Comes From Insecurities and Fear 8 years, 3 months ago

Some may feel dismayed about being discriminated against and the racism that still exist in 2016. Those who display racism were either taught or inherited the ugly way of being. They’re insecurities have lead […]

    • Hate can come through insecurity and fear, but it can also be taught. Adults can allow themselves to be deceived. The term some like to use is “brainwashed”. But I say nobody washes your brain. It’s your brain. You let them dirty it! But let’s start with an innocent. When a child comes into this world their mind is a blank slate. Some people take that opportunity to write into some pretty cruel and awful things. By the time the child has grown, they see the world they live in, they have to begin unlearn what they learned. Because ultimately you grow up and you do begin to think for yourself. A person who has been taught to hate can transform and erase all of that hatred with love. No human being is born and destined to live a hopeless life. A life filled with hatred is most certainly hopeless. There is nothing to be gained by it. Not in this life or the life to come.

    • Hate may come from fear; people are afraid of what they don’t know. This fear can be managed. But when it is taught, that is where it becomes very difficult to dislodge.

    • Whatever evil that is brought to you God will turn it into good. so all those people who like to hate on others or do evil things, they always get punished in one way or another and that punishment never ends well it’s always more tragic than what they did to you. so whatever you do its always good to do right for you never know what will befall you.

    • No hate does not come from insecurities and fears but the real source of hate is evil past, jealousy and greed and nothing else. Those who are jealous will haters and greedy. Human heart is empty place and in stead of love in human heart enters hate. It is a simple thing if in heart is hate means love is disappears and if love is in heart hate is disappear.

Just as the sun rises darkness disappears does not mean in future darkness will be never but the sun light covers the prevailing darkness and when the light disappears darkness comes again. the same process is of hate and love in human heart.

Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you.

If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. But all these things they will do to you on account of my name, because they do not know him who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have been guilty of sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. …

    • Hate is something that can be controlled by good mind or being positive. Hating someone is like a curse that may come in your life. We must not deal with it and remove it from our system.

Tanikka Paulk wrote a new post, Talents Shouldn’t be Hidden 8 years, 4 months ago

Everyone has talent and everyone should allow their talents to shine. Each person was given a skill. Something that makes each one of us shine. Some become quite fearful when it comes to allowing their talents to […]

    • Talent is what differentiates one from another. Everyone is created with his/her own unique talent. It is your talent that make you in life.

When one develops his/her talent, new things begin to come in. It is an error for one to hide his talent because the early to display it the better you become what you want to be. Our talents is our pride.

Cheers! Thanks for posting such a wonderful one.

    • We all have gifts from God. He gave them to us for a reason. To not use them for good is to insult our Creator. It’s an act of irreverence.

    • I usually missed many opportunities because of my shyness. They say my voice is good but I dont have the guts to join contests mainly because I am ah introvert. Just the thought of me performing in fsont of many people makes me tremble and nervous. I really want to showcase my talent too but shyness îs taking over me. 🙁

    • Just having talents is not good enough. My husband never used his talent as a baritone range singer. Most introverts never use their talents.

    • If you have talent must be hidden at any cast but talent remains hidden due to fears and no self confidence in all branches of life. We’re all born with talents that set us apart from the crowd, special traits that make us who we are and shape our life stories.

Whether your talent is singing, swimming, coming up with creative business ideas or being an excellent listener, you’ve got to cultivate and celebrate what makes you unique. Realizing your talents and having the confidence to share them will help you reach your full potential and feel more satisfied in life. If you want to learn how to feel confident about what makes you special.

Sometimes our natural talents get obscured when we live by others’ expectations of what we should be good at. If you’ve been living, working or going to school in an environment in which your talents aren’t acknowledged, you might be confused as to what they even are at this point. Remember that your talents are what make you you, and they can’t be dictated by anyone else. They’re part of your natural makeup.

The power to be great at something is inside you, but that doesn’t mean you’ll excel without practice. The most talented musicians in the world spend hours practicing every single day, exploring the depths of their abilities. It’s the same for any type of talent; you have the natural ability to exercise it, but you’ll have no idea how powerful your talent can be unless you practice, practice, practice. As you start feeling out your talent, confidence in your abilities will soon follow.

    • Stay in constant prayer indeed. A very wise advise. Some of us find it hard to carefully observe the realty in which we live. We prefer to discuss and debate about ideas rather than to analyze particular situations. Whether we teach or work miracles, these abilities and ministries given us for the good of the community do not assure us that we are in the grace of God. Nevertheless, God sees the way we use our talents and we commit sin if we keep them to ourselves.

    • Discrimination is not restricted to Racism alone. In every walk of life people are given that treatment ostracising them from taking part in whatever people who do that, consider that they are not worthy of being there.
      🙁

    • You say right hat racism is a curse on earth like poverty we all must eradicate it from the whole world but if the leaders are serious in this matter and the racism producers are politicians for political benefits and nothings else.

I have read recently that In Eastern and Central Europe, incidents of racism are becoming worryingly frequent while public condemnation is often not as loud as it should be. As recently as September, we have seen deeply alarming developments within the supposedly safe and politically correct borders of the European Union.

Anti-Roma protests, many of them violent, swept across Bulgaria like wildfire in the autumn as the capital city Sofia played host to a demonstration entitled ‘Gypsy crime: a threat to the state.’ Thousands attended as the tremors of pro-nationalist feeling were felt all the way to the Black Sea. The protests and public reaction towards the Roma was naturally a cause for great concern.

The politically undecided, the ruling powers, the fair-minded people of Europe. We all have a duty to stand up and speak out against racism, whoever it offends and wherever it takes place.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon delivered this powerful statement to mark the day, highlighting the real dangers of racism and the ways in which it can be allowed to fester in society.

Let us all hope that the dark clouds of racial prejudice will soon pass away, and that in some not too distant tomorrow the radiant stars of love and brotherhood will shine over us with all their scintillating beauty.

    • At first glance anything looks impossible to achieve. But when giving it a second look it seems much easier

    • Life is not difficult not easy but it is a puzzle and life and death is its examination. Children are its question. Life is nothing but the harbinger of death no charm on earth but sorrows all around. A common adage is that you need to work harder and suffer more than anyone else if you want to achieve success.

From what I have learned from people who have accomplished big things in both their lives and careers, one of their most common “a-ha moments” was when they realized that working hard was not enough to succeed, and that often it was even a waste of time and energy.

Thinking from this perspective, I have collected 3 things that just are as important, or even more important, than hard work when it comes to achieving success.

Work on yourself 10 times as hard as you work on external elements, and you will feel that you are moving 10 times faster towards what you want.

Almost all the hard work you have to do to succeed is focused on replacing your routines and habits with the ones a successful person would have. By deliberately changing your procedures, you change the results you achieve, the value you provide, and the way you are seen by yourself and the rest of the world.

    • It is quality and not quantity that is important when it comes to having people around us. If you look at FB accounts there you will find some with countless friends but they are not friend but just a number.

    • he most important aspect of connecting with other businesses is the element of positivity; it is far easier to be dragged down by someone’s discouragement or apathy than it is for you to raise them up to your level, so try to cut off or ignore any negative influences. There are some who try to build things and there are others to try to tear them down: don’t let those telling you something cannot be done stop you from doing it.

Enthusiasm is contagious, and being around other businesses with the same high levels of drive and ambition that you strive towards can only increase your motivation and inspire a little healthy competition; a company doesn’t have to be in the same sector or industry as you to be like-minded, they just need to have a similar attitude. If you’re a start-up business, it’s no bad thing to associate with other start-ups and SME’s, but what are their goals for the future?

Are their aims simply to run a successful local business? If you’re dreaming on a bigger scale than that, don’t be afraid to communicate with companies bigger than yours and receive invaluable advice on how they got to where they are.

Inspiration isn’t just a one way street, either. Eventually, when you are experiencing success and having your ideas heard, you can start to influence others and allow them to discuss their goals, too. Encouraging someone and giving them great advice now could reap plenty of rewards in the future. Building a network of support, for you and others, means you have a source of support and innovation as well as a place to shout about your company’s accomplishments.

The main cause of madness is that madness, in our culture, is defined by visibility. From the popular press to TV soaps and films, the depiction of madness always borders on the extreme: violent outbursts, fits, hallucinations. But what if madness is not exactly what we think it to be? What if it is the rule rather than the exception?

But i thank God for his goodness and protection because he is always watching over us regardless when people do us wrong we call on God and he saves us. • I tart my sermon with is Biblical verse those who all day calls for God will not enter into heaven because God knows your hearts and wicked will against men and God. Because holy are those whose hearts are like sheep and innocent like babes and whose smiles full of love and peace but today’s men hearts are black, intentions are devilish, minds are full doubts…what is doing today’s man on earth who has forgot God and his commandments.

Now I quote some verses from the Holy Bible…read and think will open your eyes and heart that are blind, deaf and dumb.

      Matthew 7:21-23
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

      Proverbs 6:16-19
There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.

We all have to reponder over our deeds and intentions so that we could get lost paradise.
