Sometimes it’s difficult to imagine how somethings will connect and to understand the length of time it takes to get from point A to point B. Time waits no for no one that’s for sure. No matter how much time […]

    • Yes. I agree with you. One should not remain as a stationary object but should keep oneself busy with ‘movement’. The movement involving action and effort. Otherwise, nothing can happen in life.To happen something whether slow or rapid one should put forth an effort. Sometimes, the result will be slow and sometimes very quick. But, there are no quick fixes in the road for great achievements. It is a step by step process.

There comes a time when some transforming must take place. A little secretive huh? That’s how it has to be sometimes in order to make “major progress.” If there’s a whole lot of distractions then we all must find […]

    • Of course everyone wants to prosper. Though some people would like to do it in an easy way but illegally, that puts them in hot water later.

If everyone got the determination to prosper, there will be no hard way for them. They will brave those hard way and in the end will win over and reach prosperity.

Everyone starts small even in business. It is just sheer determination and hard work that can help them go up the ladder.

We all know how to deal with the colleague when we are working in the office, but what if both of you and your husband/wife are self employed, work from home, how to deal with your “other half” colleague wit […]

    • Ok. I agree with you. The less we talk the less will be the quarrel. If there is any quarrel for a short while it only makes them coming out of their emotions and make them healthy as most of the times both will be conversing online only.

    • That is really a nice set-up for couples who are both self-employed and are just at home working.

True, each one should have their workstations and have their own space. Having the same workstations can muddle up their works specially when there are a lot of documents to deal with.

Having a board of each one’s work schedule will also facilitate each one’s ease in understanding the busyness of each one at the designated hours thus needs not be disturbed and won’t hurt the other one, when he doesn’t answer to her queries and vice versa.

    • THAT WAS NICE TIPS FOR COUPLES WHO ARE BOTH WORKING AT HOME. IT IS ALWAYS GOOD TO HAVE THEIR OWN WORKING ROOMS/STATIONS AS YOU HAVE SAID. AND ALSO I AGREE THAT BOTH SHOULD TALK ABOUT THEIR SCHEDULES.

    • It would be great to work at home with your husbandwife . but you have to make sure your not disturbed cause its not to easy to focus with your love ones around and take things a serious as you would if they weren’t around. And I agree when having your own two separate environments to work in you can get your job done better.

    • When I was a kid, making lanterns was a totally fun activity! But we only made lanterns around Halloween time. Didn’t know anything about Chinese New Year. Now that I know about the holiday, I no longer make lanterns. Unlike Peter Pan I grew up. 🙂 But I must say the lantern pictured in the video is gorgeous! It’s much fancier than the ones I used to make when I was a kid.

      • hi Treathy, looking forward to read more on your type of lanterns. We enjoy making it during Chinese New Year and Moon cake Festival which about mid autumn season.

    • Agreed. You are right. Writing may become a source of stress for us if we follow some strict and inflexible schedule. Following some sort of timetable may not be a good idea in this regard as its effects are devastating in the long run.

I am not writing with an intention to touch the minimum threshold by 30th of every month. It may be a stressful activity for me so I did not consider it rather I do focus on writing whenever I have ideas and feelings to share with my friends here on this site. I am enjoying the overall activity by doing so.

There’s competition all around. In every arena competition will be going on. Some competitiveness gets out of hand due to some being overly competitive. Some competition is healthy but when others become wicked […]

    • Competition in sports event and games will always be appreciated. There the players will put forth their best to win. Participation itself is appreciated irrespective of whether one is losing or winning. The players on some occasions become very aggressive and make a do or die effort to win. Once the result is declared everybody will have the appreciation of the Audience who generally watch such thrilling event. Here, everything is fair in love and war is not applied nowadays. It was considered as the meaning of the competition in olden days.
I am recollecting a world cup final/semi-final match played between West Indies and Australia. There was only one wicket in the Australian team to win the match.
Michael Holding was the bowler. He got a very good opportunity to make out the player on the popping crease when he crossed it before the bowler could bowl the ball. Michael holding could make him out just by hitting the stumps which were quite nearby But, he did not do it. He just gave the only action reminding the player on the runner side to be more careful. He does not want to make such disrespectful or cunning game. He wanted to show his ability and wanted a fair play.
The whole audience in the stadium appreciated the sportsman spirit of Mr. Michael Holding Though the match won by Australia the man of the match was awarded to an Australian player, finally a special prize for BEST SPORTSMANship was awarded to Mr. Michael Holding and the entire West Indian Team had the high appreciation of the audience in the Stadium
But, in a business competition, it does not take place The only rule they follow is everything is fair in business The only goal is achieving good business and market to their product
In their eagerness to achieve their goal they involve themselves in lawsuits, file complaints against each other, appoint agents to gather the business secrets of other organization, including the method and combination of ingredients used in the making of products This is very dangerous Sometimes, this may even lead to murders This should be discouraged. They totally forget the ethics and neglect to gain the good will of the customers. By the time, they realize this truth there will remain nothing to be achieved.

    • Wow what an inspiring piece. I totally agree with you on this. There is a saying that goes like this where there is a will there is a way and at the end of every tunnel there is a light. Surely anyone who reads this understands what it’s all about. We don’t just prosper you have to always face trials and temptations go through turmoils to get to the place of prosperity. There are others who may not go through the trials but still prosper have you ever stopped to ask yourself how and why? I have many times and the answer is even with all this riches there is always someone who will pay dearly for you to prosper. So for me i don’t envy those people who have so much going for them, riches come pouring out at them while they are just sorted I would rather work and see how I am getting those riches, see myself climbing from one level to another. That way i will appreciate every little thing I have for I know how i got it and what I had to go through to get it. That’s what matters most. Prosperity has never come easy for those who have been there. It has many ups and downs and it needs a lot of patience to be able to receive or get what you want. Many at times we may work so hard and still not find the satisfaction that we are looking for but in the long run of you learn to be patient with yourself you will surely get deserving break that you having working for for so long.

    • I feel happiness comes first, then comes prosperity followed by success in whatever good one is pursuing, leading to abundance which in turn will attract money. People have become materialistic and they measure others by the amount of money and job which one has. This has become a sad fact of life. The rich always seem to keep on hoarding money which actually be increased by them for themselves and for the nation and its people by investing it in more businesses and creating wealth and not money alone.

If the wealth trickles down from the top downwards and reaches all the sections of the society then the nation will become strong as the people will possess both skill, job and wealth. For this to happen we need people who have a heart to do something for their country and its people and not think what they can get out of it more. A well researched article.
