Not every will be kind and compassionate and the online world can be quite cruel. Some will go beyond in order to try and get others down. They’ll use tactics to isolate the ones who are trying to rise above. Isolation is a way to corner the target and when one is cornered. The attacks are generated to stop the person or persons from getting ahead. Being isolated doesn’t sound good but in fact working alone can get more done. The attacks however can generate stress if allowed. The key is to spend less time in environments that are chaotic. Proceed whether there’s attacks or not. We have to remember that not everyone has the same heart and will be cruel to others just to move ahead.
Social media once upon a time was a great place to share life experiences but now it’s riddled with trolling and competitiveness. Anyone perceived to be elevating will be a target. Even the ones who are already highly successful may be targets as well. That’s why so many may claim how difficult it is to reach success. The adversity will come but when others add to the already adversity they’re doing a disservice to themselves. We don’t have to spend much time in social media. Too much time online isn’t good for one’s mental health. There’s a lot of cyber bullying and harassment. So the virtual world probably isn’t the best place to hang out for long periods of time.
For so many, the majority of their work is online, so there has to be some time spend in cyber space but even ones who work online should take breaks and relax. We won’t be able to avoid difficult people or trolls all of the time but we certainly can limit our contact with those individuals. No one is obligated to engage with anyone online. Some have even decided to hang it up altogether. There’s just way too much negativity online. Some sites will have more bullying than others.
It’s unfortunate for teens that they’re exposed to the cruelty online. So many have taken their lives because of cyber bullying and there seems to be little protection against bullying. We may find that the very ones that are suppose to protect others may apart of the cruelty. What do we do in that case? We find positive ways to channel the emotions that can come along with being bullied. Focus on the “positives” and communicate about what’s taking place. That will help alleviate some of the stress.
Even therapists will recommend to avoid spending too much time on social media. That’s where so many go to explode on others. We’re unaware with what they’re dealing with so they’ll take their frustrations out on others on social media sites. Another way to isolate their targets is to try to control their targets virtually. Demanding that certain tasks be completed. They’re seeking control. Mind control, gas-lighting, brain washing. Like thousands of Hitlers. A lot of mental instability online.
It’s important that we focus on the things that will add value to our lives and not what the online world has to offer. If there’s lots of bullying then there’s not much being offered. We must continue to move forward. It’s difficult when there’s so many people on the attack but we don’t have to always deal with the foolishness. There’s no rule saying that we have to even go online or visit certain sites. Some sites don’t even deserve our visitation.
So many teens have decided to leave social media altogether. If one observes what really takes place in the virtual world then they wouldn’t want to spend much time there. Some will stop their dreams because of the cruelness on social media and other platforms. So many can throw arrows because they’re sitting behind a computer. True bravery is when one can be face to face and say the same things they’ve said online. Anyone can be brave behind a computer.

I think social media is laying its role negative just to earn money as in every ads woman is used in a sexy way that instigates the youths' emotions and led them to the wrong way what is this nothing but a diplomacy to earn money and sex spreading ads must ban on social media. Women are selling their beauty on social media just for the sake of poverty and hunger or to save their family members. What the GOVT is doing in this sector nothing but politics and what the anchors are doing nothing but promoting sex and earning money. Social media role must be positive not negative in all countries.
