Here We Go Again!!

Hello to all!  Glad to be back  on the site again!!  Yesterday I wasn’t able to access the site and the day before I wasn’t even on the computer at all!!  So when I did have free time yesterday, I was surprised to see that there were problems with access to the site 🙁

Since we live out in the country, there are times the internet access isn’t the best, I thought it was just bad internet connection.  I knew that I had connected with the LiteracyBase FaceBook page.  It was a relief to see (on LiteracyBase’s FaceBook page) that I wasn’t the only one that was having problems getting access to the site.  Sure, NOT being able to be on the site wasn’t good news, but I at least new that I wasn’t the only person that was having problems.  Of course since I wasn’t on the site before I didn’t know if the @support had mentioned anything about any upgrades that might have occurred or would be occurring?

I wanted to be on the site and was excited to read if the people that had cashed out ,had received any notice that they would be paid and I was excited to see if the people that were close to cashing out, cashed out.  So with the not being able to access the site, I was beginning to get concerned.  I think that most of us that are on this site now have been members of writing sites that never paid them.  We’ve all pretty much been on those sites that they have upgraded and the site is down.  Then soon the site changes their TOS to say that they have changed their pay rate.  Or you begin to hear of stories of people who cashed out but never got paid.  Or you go to log in to the site and then the site isn’t there anymore.

We’ve experienced enough of writing sites that have failed and  they have all done the things that I have mentioned above, that one always has this in the back of their mind when we see things that have happened to the fallen sites we’ve been on.  We know we’ve been through this scenario before and we know what the end result will be.  We always hope that maybe this time, the site is really going through updates to  make the site better and we always hope that the site will pay it’s writers.  In the back of our mind though,we remember how other sites have done us wrong in the past and we some times bring those fears with us to other sites, because we’ve been through it a time or two before.

Those fleeing thoughts ran through my mind when I wasn’t able to be on the site yesterday and there was NO response on FaceBook about why some people weren’t able to get on the site, so now that I’m able to I will have to do some “snooping” around to see what happened and if the people were able to cash out yet.  I’m not even half way to cashing out.  Will be on and off the site for the next two weeks as the grand kids are visiting with us.

Here’s hoping that LiteracyBase will be here for quite some time!!

~Peace~

    • I have about $3 now, and I think I can make it to cashout before the end of the month.
I will write about it (either in blog or forum) when I get the money safely in my Paypal.

    • Internet is such a world where we can find every type of people god or bad, honest and dishonest, clever and foolish, money earner and money loser... it is a display center of the whole world. I write for the young generation so that they could know the value of time.

Most of the people write for earning money on;line is not a bad thing but earn money using positive thinking and be honest in writing because all the people read your articles.

Sites that pay for articles usually fall into one of two main models. The first is revenue-sharing, where the website pays you a certain amount for every view or ad click from your post. This method can earn you some pocket money, but it’s not quite as lucrative as the second option.

There are plenty of ways to get paid for your writing. Maybe you’ll earn enough to make writing a lucrative side hustle, and maybe you’ll follow my example and make writing your full-time job (I write about 3,000 words a day, Monday through Friday. It isn’t easy, but it is a lot of fun).

A lot of successful online businesses find themselves in the position where their business is so successful they no longer have time to write as much as they used to and if you can adjust your writing style this is a great starting gig.

The other reason you should consider this is it gives you the opportunity to find out more about how online businesses operate. This knowledge will help you cater your writing to offer more diverse services than just writing per se.
