Have any of you been troubled by nonstop advertisements that keep showing up on the site while you are trying to work?
I do not merely mean general ads that show up on the sides of the screen. I am talking about those Facebook ones that keep making your screen scroll up and down. It is extremely annoying while you are in the middle of typing a comment or putting up a post.
I for one, do not have to look at the keyboard while typing so I know exactly when the screen moves. But there are some who do not have that ability to type without looking. They would definitely be thrown off and may just lose whatever they have typed. Or may just click on something that they weren’t intending to click on.
I am not sure if you all understand what exactly I am talking about?
Do any of you face the same problems or is it just me? Is there a problem with my browser? I have tried to use my literacybase account on my computer at home as well as I have tried to put up posts from work too. It happens there as well so I am not really sure if it is just me.
Please let me know if you all are facing the same issues and if you all know what need to be done to stop these moving ads. Do I need some special software or ad removal tool?
I know these ads are what bring the revenue for the site. But it is just Facebook all the time. I sometimes find myself clicking the ad by mistake and I am then directed to Facebook.

I had seen so many sites with ads popping out. I must say, it is irritating sometimes. I cannot do things faster than I used to be. However, it is a good sign that the site booms for the ads.
Yea well they say its what brings in the revenue and thats how we get paid so I guess we have to just go with the flow! :)

What am I checking for? because i even googled it to see how to remove and ive tried what googles has advised me to do. but still no luck.
I just click the x and it disappears. To avoid clicking on FB you must see that it does not overlap where you are typing. a bit of vigilance and your problem is solved. Ads bring in revenue.
It is good that Literacybase has ads on the site because that means there is lots of pageviews which translates into us getting paid.
Ads keep popping up and it's annoying but ads are what gave the site revenue. And that's how the site pays us...so I guess we have to live with the ads popping up.
I can see a lot of ads. I know we need to use them to raise revenue, but the one I fnd annoying is the infolinks one as it turns up more than once while I am reading.
That said, I guess we have to take the rough with the smooth to keep the site running and make the dough.
One day someone will find an ad free formula for this kind of site, but we do not have it yet.
