Border- Gavaskar Trophy 4th Test Match ( 1st Innings)

Australia won the toss and chooses to bat first in the 4^th and final test match of the series which was played in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. Australia started the Innings with Matt R and David W and India with B Kumar and U Yadav both pace bowlers.

On the 1^st Ball of the Match karun N dropped a simple catch of David W, if he had managed to took that then it would have been a dream start of the Match for B Kumar and for India.

India managed to get the 1^st wicket on the team score of 10 runs in the form of Matt R of the bowling of U Yadav. After his dismissal Aussie Skipper S Smith and David W batted very aggressively and in no time they were able to get pass 100 runs. Australia lost their 2^nd wicket on the score of 144 runs in the form of David W on the bowling of K Yadav, so it was his first test wicket on making debut for Indian cricket Team. Australia does bat well in this Innings but they also kept losing wickets as well.

Australia was bowled out for score of 300 runs in 88.3 over’s and with top scores of Aussie Skipper S Smith who made 111 runs in 173 balls with 14 fours and Aussie Wicket keeper batsman M Wade who made 57 runs in 125 balls with 4 fours and 1 six and David W made 56 runs in 87 balls with 8 fours and 1 Six.

For India Debutant K Yadav was the pick of the bowlers as he picked 4 wickets by conceding 68 runs in 23 over’s and U Yadav pick 2 wickets by giving away 69 runs in 15 over’s. R Jadeja, R Ashwin and B Kumar took 1 wicket each and S O kefee was out Run out by Substitute fielder S Iyer.

Writers Analysis:  India bowled very well and it was K Yadav who put India back in the match as Aussie Skipper S Smith was batting very well and he was taking the game away from the reach if India.
