Hackers are becoming smarter and smarter these days. So it is important to keep our computer virus clean. Honestly saying it is depend on our own usage, if we are using computer with following few basic things then we can easily avoid virus on our computer. We just need to be careful for all those basic things to prevent virus from our computer. Let’s talk about few important things which can make our computer safe.

Never use unknown USB device on your computer: USB devices is commons source of computer virus. If any computer is virus infected and we insert pen drive in it then it will catch up that virus in that flash drive too. And it can affect many computers later on. So better you completely scan any USB drive before inserting it to your computer. Or you can avoid it to prevent any damage on your computer.

Unknown downloads: People love to download different files like software, music, videos, etc. on their computer. But let me tell you, those download can install malicious things on your computer. So better you avoid downloads from any unknown source.

Pirated copies: Many people used to install pirated copies of different apps available in the local market. It is illegal thing you know that, but with that it can also install some bad software or other things on your computer like key recorder application. So it is better to purchase any application instead of going for pirated version. They are not safe at all.

Unknown sites: Your computer can get infected from some sites too. So better you keep internet protection and avoid unknown sites for surfing. Without any protection your computer may get attacked by site or virus just by opening such sites. And you will not notice a single thing during this process. So make sure you avoid any unknown site. Better be safe.

Antivirus: Well, if you follow all above things then you will be safe for sure, but it is always advisable to keep good antivirus software on your computer. You can go for free version too for any antivirus. There are many good antiviruses available on the internet which will provide good security to your computer. They will able to make you safe from USB drives by scanning them completely and also they will protect you during your internet surfing and downloading session. If I need to suggest one then I will suggest Avast antivirus to you. I am using it since 10 years and found no problem during it. Also it is not making my computer slow. So for me it is working fine.
