Don’t recall seeing this movie. Don’t really like horror movies but watch them on occasion. You’re right that the Indian films are a little more scary than the American ones. We subscribe to Netflix. Thanks for the suggestion!

    • There are people who exhibit this ego openly and this is very bad. They can not control their ego. The only thing they know is to show their superiority
But, what is the reason for this temperament? A thing to be examined. The reason may be due to internal problem

Some people remain cool They maintain a balanced posture irrespective of the nature of the position they are involved in. They always succeed and win over their enemies even.

Making enemies deliberately means the person is suffering from some psychological problem He should contact a doctor at the early stage itself

      • The problem is that the person making the enemy doesn’t see himself as wrong. Doesn’t see any mistake. It is not a person who realises; ‘why am I acting like this?’ He doesn’t even analyse his actions.

    • The reasoning or rationale for why a person would intentionally set out to make enemies eludes me. Can’t follow the “logic” at all. But for the record, even though we all know this, I’d like to state that some people have deadly enemies and they did nothing to bring on the HATE! They were not even trying! They HAVE enemies. They did not MAKE the enemies! And these enemies are deadly! That means these people’s lives are in peril just because …

      Just sayin’.

      • You have some people who do things.. they may lie about them… they may not even realise what they did. I can list deadly insults that people have dropped casually… unthinkingly.

You can not trust many people.
    Some are looking for […]

    • yes you are right These are worthless people Their job is to entrap others They involve you in some discussion and seek your opinion on somebody or on the decision of somebody
These are very dangerous. We come across such people in everyday life Their behavior in office will be quite dangerous. They seek your opinion with sweet words and again use it against you. They even report it to the higher authorities only to create a bad impression on you To deal with such people one should be quite clever and knack. It these tools is employed properly we can be safe and if not we will be nowhere.
There are occasions in which due to this tongue pulling people have lost their promotional opportunities and even jobs. This is a very dangerous attitude which should be discouraged.
If they repeat our words as they were told, there is no harm but this does not happen on many occasions They add some more words and give it additional color to the words. This is very dangerous
To discourage such thing I generally keep my cellphone right in front of me on the table if anybody, by chance take an opportunity of seeking my opinion on somebody. The moment I put my Cellphone on the table they stop talking. They discuss what they want and leave the place. This is found to be quite an effective way of dealing with such Agents. Sometimes, I even before their talk, I ask them to listen to the voice of other (which is nothing but only a big drama) that I had recorded indirectly giving them a hint that the same will be applied to them also.
I could overcome this problem very easily
In case, I do not possess any phone or if it is not readily available I just listen to them and ask them to meet me after an hour or so to discuss the issue. It is just gaining time to fix the other person.

kaylar wrote a new post, When a Child responds badly to Divorce 7 years, 11 months ago

Although I am using the father of a famous celebrity as the Template, her story is common. It is not her story alone. It is the story of hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of girls who have had incredible […]

    • Divorce is nothing but lack of spiritual understand between the two lovers or between the husband and wife. The main cause of divorce is negative intention and in search of new partner is the basis cause but children are faultless in matter.

God does not like it but the marriage bases on money and greed of money fails in practical life and the marriage bases on positive intention get success in practical life. Jane Austin has written on a novel Pride and Prejudice.

In the broader sense it the flaw of character and nothing else. A weak character person cannot sustain marriage in difficult time due to weak intention. I have written a full article on it on LB. those who are serious in making their marriages strong are those who give death to their emotions and accept the situation in which they live with children, husband and families.

Love marriage base is emotion and not reason that is why the marriages fail because emotions change according to situation and marriage circle changes automatically in practical life. I think, after marriage man and woman must not search any other person for friendship or love purpose because love and friendship change emotions cause divorce.

      • Many marriages should not have happened in the first place. People get married for the wrong reasons, or don’t being to understand the obligations of marriage. The husband has no intention of being faithful, so has his girl friends. The wife, obviously, objects, and so the parties break apart.

    • Congrats my friend, yay, at long last your long awaited moment finally came. A child has nothing to say when marriage is broken except to cry and show rebellious action. That is worst as a nightmare breaking the vow in the altar of the holy matrimony. Will there be no way to repair a broken marriage? If the cause is at its extreme like cheating, the feeling of the victim wife or husband cannot be controlled. It is better that way than to see any of their presence with each others blood that keep on soaring due to anger. Better that way, or else one of them becomes a criminal.
It is so true that the children will be much affected. They will surely feel insecure and may be the cause of their depression. So many children landed in the mental hospital because of trauma. Why must love go that way. Why can’t a wife or husband resist temptation. They are not crazy. They are not morons, perhaps the feeling runs dry because of the absence of love.
Love must also be cherished n each others heart,if not ,love will slowly fly on the window. Those who marry young are usually the victims of the so called force marriage thereby overthought abut the consequence of marrying young.they are not yet so sure if they are meant for each other. It is not good to marry young and marry the person you just met shortly, you get to know each other better,Let love grow deeper and deeper before setting the final decision to marry.

Since divorce is legal abroad, so no choice, but to accept by signing the divorce papers. Amen to the end of the marriage.

      • It is very sad because so many things are happening at the divorce that few people consider the children. In some cases the damage to the children is extensive.

    • The divorce will definitely tell upon the behavior of the children. They feel insecure and sometimes they even commit suicide in the absence of proper care The loss they undergo is immeasurable. They will feel isolated in the world and develop an attitude of revenge either against the mother or against the father. They can not express their feeling freely before others. They remain calm and start learning lies. They are denied the affection of their father and mother equally They generally seek the same from the grand old people They move freely with them and start hating their parents To some extent it is better If there are no grandparents the problem becomes totally weird.
The parents before taking a decision of divorce should think about the future of their children and should avoid it as far as possible. The old people should interfere and convince them to live separately along with their children and enjoy the fruit and sweetness of family life.
unfortunately, nowadays this is not taking place. the parents after performing the marriage of their daughter try to involve in her family life and start eating her ear on each and every moment of her family life They discuss her in-laws They advise her to get relief of their in-laws and live separately. They do not teach her how to adjust with her in-laws who are the parents of her husband.
when the girl succeeds in driving the in-laws out of her home the parents come and slowly occupy the position of in-laws without any shame. Unfortunately, the son instead of showing respect to his parents will be quite obedient to his in-laws and becomes a slave finally.
If any dispute arises between husband and wife the parents instead of making a compromise between the two the parents seek a good opportunity in separating them. All the morals and ethics are thrown to the wind. They do not even think about the future of the small kids and openly support their daughter shamelessly staying in the house of their son-in-law This is happening in many of the families nowadays.
In the case of husband being unfaithful as pointed in your blog, the ladies are not lagging behind They too are becoming unfaithful to their husbands and finally, material relationships are taking place in many of the families in our so-called cultured society The divorce also becomes common. In these cases, the end result will be a big zero and the very meaning of marriage has lost its significance.
This ultimately results in relationships where no one can be anything to other.
The best example is the SHEENA BORA MURDER CASE A very heinous and totally absurd relationship which ultimately resulted in the murder of a daughter by her own mother. This also leads to a love affair between a brother and sister. This is one of the worst cases which reflects the degradation of human values and ethics of married life The case also tells how the marriage has lost its significance in the Indian society.

      • These horrible results are not as uncommon as people believe. Many children can not deal with the situation, and there seems no method implemented to recognise this.

    • It is happening everywhere in the world. Some countries are being caught and some are let lose on various grounds. Whoever is caught is dubbed as a thief and who is not is Royal and the Royals are always Loyal Loyal to whom is not relating to the present context.

If we take Adidas, the Company is providing employment for about 31,000 people worldwide. The company has got worldwide sales of 16,415m Euros. and has got 1,695 retails concept stores worldwide.
Its revenue from footwear segment alone is $9.13bn.

In respect of Tommy Hilfiger, the Global sales in retails were $6.4bn and is providing employment to 10,000 worldwide
When the Companies with such sound economic and social statistics are contributing to the economy of a country is it right to expect the availability of their product with cheap prices?

Is it not our foolishness to expect cheap prices of their products? We should know and understand what the value of a particular brand is before purchasing any product. Of course, we may at times get their rejected products in the market (usually does not occur) at cheaper rates than the copies products. We should then try our luck and go for them. Then, in that case, we will be benefited as these rejected products will be more superior than the finished products of other countries.
We should also know that there are some first copy products like first copy watches, first copy fabrics which will be available at cheaper rates The only difference is they are not manufactured in the branded factory The quality and other aspects will be good. Instead of spending money on purchasing right and going for separate logo and marketing they dub the logo of the famous brand which is already established in the markets. This is also a crime and should not be encouraged.
Even in India also, there will be some vendors who approach the public with some packets having 4 to 5 pieces of Reymond, Luis Philipps suitings and sell them at cheaper prices. They only say that the exporters give them to make a living on selling those suitings. Should we believe them? No. They are all from local factories of Surat, Ahmadabad and other states of India.
This is not only Jamaica but also several countries which are using these tactics to increase their economy, Of course, China has moved very rapidly leaving many other countries behind in this business.
We should not encourage such products and if we do it does mean that we are cheating ourselves and should not hold any other responsible for the loss that we incur. Why should always the Governments be approached to make laws when the facts are right in front of our eyes? If we do not purchase such articles and products this will add to the economy of a country and for the employment of other people.
We should throw the blame simply on Governments and enjoy with the mischief .

      • We all want the ‘Name Brand’. The Name Brand is expensive. The counterfeit product has the name but is cheaper… in all ways. If you know that this is not a Nike but a ‘Mike’… counterfeit, and costs 1/2 the price…

    • China always sells fake stuffs.Sacks of fake rice from their country were sent in Ph only to know they are fake. They are plastic produced to look alike rice, very big crime.I never buy anything made from China.

About Alibaba, I have heard about it and was banned. I do not know why until this time Alibaba is still on the go to serve the people thru cheat. There was a time that I wanted to purchase a snoring ring for my sister, I noticed that the items displayed were nit the same as what I aw a week before. Then I checked and checked only to see eBay Alibaba, my goshness, I never bought.

I think the Interpol can charge them. Then , I wonder why your government has another kind of mentality of refusing to protect the people’s rights?

      • Same thing in Jamaica. We got the plastic rice too… I run from things made in China. I look at every label and if it’s China… NO!! I never even looked at the pop up. As soon as it popped, I hit the ‘X’ to shut the window. Nothing good comes from China.

    • Merkel should not be placed next to Hitler unless you’re doing a contrast and compare of dark versus light. Not trying to defend Ms. Merkel, but blaming her for the establishment and consequences of a brutal regime is like saying America invented slavery. I don’t see how her treatment of the refugees could in any way be construed as “sopping the conscience”. Surely she wasn’t trying to ease her conscience. Although I believe the decisions she made, in her official position, were according to her personal conscience.

So she extended kindness to strangers and it didn’t prevent a terrorist attack. Surely she wasn’t being unrealistic. I don’t think for one minute Ms. Merkel ever even entertained the notion that her acts of decency, civility and compassion toward fellow human beings in distress would stop or prevent planned acts of evil by others aiming to create more distress.

Your post does make an interesting point and it’s a question that nobody has yet answered. Why do the Muslims migrate to so-called Christian countries? Why don’t the refugees go to Muslim countries? Won’t a Muslim country show them empathy, sympathy, compassion, kindness, and charity? Don’t Muslims always say that their religion requires such acts? It’s an Islamic duty. It’s not like in America where we always argue “separation of church and state”. Isn’t the religion of Islam and a government run by Muslims woven together, i.e. NOT separate? Don’t Muslim countries have programs in place to receive refugees or show kindness to strangers, especially fellow followers of the faith, since it’s a part of their religion? These questions beg for answers.

At any rate, IF you have the power to help somebody … anybody … you should not withhold something that within your power to do because _________. The blank could be filled in with all kinds of answers (or “excuses”) such as:

~ The good I do won’t stop terrorism or other horrific acts.
~ The good I do might make people angry who disagree with me.
      ~ The good I do won’t “fix” what’s “broke”!

Evil should always be overcome with good. That’s not an ideal or an impossible dream. That’s real life! Doesn’t everybody live according to their own conscience?

      • I like your post, but I think you misread my item a bit. In all countries there are laws dealing with immigration. One goes through the steps. One doesn’t just arrive and is instantly allowed free reign. Either one is confined somewhere while the documents or lack thereof are examined.

The Cubans who arrived in America in the famous Mariel were not just sent on the road or housed in unsecure locations. They were vetted. Some were only given ‘parole’ because they had committed offences in Cuba and had to report.

What Merkel did was to open borders, due weak checks, so that this chap who did the truck thing in Berlin was able to do it. And others are just like him, able to wander around Europe and select targets, because they are not refugees.

Other nations, from Bulgaria to Hungary and of course, Britain, are not into open borders. They have their laws and nothing to prove.

What Merkel has done is behave as if totally unaware of the possibilities of terrorism and her behaviour is questionable.

If you wanted to immigrate to Germany you couldn’t just arrive and be immediately accepted.

The questions of who these migrants are, why they are migrating, and their purpose needs to be asked and investigated. And that is not being done. And it is my belief that if Germany had not had its’ past of Nazism, it would not feel obliged to prove anything.

        • Oh I did not misread you. When you and I have our tête-à-tête, it’s always clear that we both have definitive thoughts and ideas about a specific topic, event, etc. I always respect what you write. You articulate well. But I also have my “two cents” and I know that you are courteous enough to let me speak my mind, even if we don’t see things the same way. 🙂

(Unlike my husband who will talk right over me and keep on going like a bulldozer!! 🙂 )

          • Recently, I followed up on the question, and wrote an article about Saudi Arabia… which has these empty tents reserved for five days a year, for about 3 Million visitors for the Haj.

Qatar takes none, UAE takes none, Iraq and Iran take none… why do they go to European countries? It is a little strange. And what I think is that many are looking for ‘freeness’.

    • My friends, the problem is not with German but the problem is that law is weak because under this law all the countries fulfill their aims and objects. say foolish are those who allow others to say at their homes and after sometimes they wills natch their houses and homes surely as the histories have shown clearly.

Political protection is present there where as kingship in the past as in Germany, France, united Kingdom and Russia from the very beginning. Giving Political protection is their personal law for the those who have any political rift in their countries.

Every country must ban to give political protection to any citizen belonging to any country. As United Kingdom gives political protection to different people but no one can ask UK why she gives political protection? Its main reason is that it is their home law no one can ask why she does so?

      • The point is that every country has it’s entry requirements. Always had them since borders were created. In the modern day, if I want to go to Britain I have to satisfy certain requirements.

In emergency situations, as Syria, there would or should be some huge ‘Ellis Island’ kind of entry point so that those who are questionable would be vetted before released or sent back.

    • Users man there everywhere. And it always seems like the sweetest people who try to get over on you. In my case anyways. I don’t like having a grudge or feel hate in my heart so I try to think positive. But boy I tell you that’s hard to do when you have people trying to get over you all the time. If there’s one think I’d dislike it would be getting used. It builds up so much anger and me. Alot of times itll be your own family. WHY : because they know you do anything to help your family. Sometimes you have no choice but to put your foot down let them know what it is and what it ain’t going to be.life can already get tough and complicated as it is so who has time for people like that.
Now don’t get me wrong there’s always a select few who you can help because you know they have your back just as well as you got there’s. And you can tell the difference between users and helpers. Helpers will be there when you need them and you be there when they need you. That’s real friendship. Users stand out so easily, they only call when they want something, not just to say hi. So I’ll answer whenever I feel like talking to them.dont never wanna stop by just to check in and say hey. They sure will come over though when they need something.theyll never stop it unless you put your foot down. yeah I know your thinking to yourself that you got a good heart but don’t let others run over you because of it. It’ll just make things complicated for you, give you feelings you don’t want to have.

      • That is exactly the point. It is not just being used, it is those negative feelings that it produces which I don’t want inside of me. I don’t want to feel that kind of hurt and anger so I have to be ‘pro-active’ in a sense. As soon as I begin to feel a little bit used, I get scarce, I get ‘useless’… not because I am not the kind to help… I don’t want to feel the resentment of being used.

    • Talk about users this are people who exist everywhere in our world. They are known because they don’t even try to hide their bad behavior. I have dealt with some people like this over and over and i have oftenly asked why I get involved with such people. I remember very well helping out some friend who had a hard time with stuff. I willingly helped but what I got in return was mind boggling. I could not imagine that that person would have done what they did. I was so used to the point of even borrowing, but after I found out what my friend was up to I pulled away from our friendship completely. And that’s when I realized that i was just being used, but even after doing all those bad things to me, my friend did not have a very good life afterwards. Things just did not work and i thought we’ll that must be your punishment for wasting my time and money.

      • I have become alert to being used. People will call ask me to come to their office to do free work. I usually don’t argue, but call back and say I can’t and suggest meeting at a hotel. This means, of course, no matter how it plays, I’m getting at least a cup of coffee. This is so beyond their user personality they will never agree.

So, beyond wasting a few minutes on the phone, that’s all my investment.

    • You can give and show someone all your love and still have your own mind set. You should never love to the point were you can’t think for yourself. Yes this happens to people all over the world. You have to love and have space at the same time do your thinking yourself. Just share your opinion on what you were thinking about but never let someone fully have control over your mind and body. It’s not healthy at all. It can even cause bad event’s to happen in the Long run.

I had a friend wsh. She was in love. She loved just a lil. To hard.nothing was never about herself it was always about him. She didn’t even think for herself. This was for every situation, when it came to her clothes, what they were eating that night, where she went even who she called. To her it seemed normal because in her mind she couldn’t focus without him. It’s like that was the only person who existed. This was real bad for her because she no longer had a life. She never went anywhere did anything. Stop dressing up because she was worried bout what he would say and what he would think. She didn’t even work because he didn’t want her to. He still had a life did what he wanted.was able to go out and about. Then apparently he ended up falling for someone else. Leaves her after she dedicated her life to him. This caused sever health issues for her it even put her in the hospital for whole week. Couldn’t eat or sleep. He was her life and he took it away.it put stress on her heart and mind she even lost all her weight. It’s like she was no longer here. Her Mind was gone.nothing existed anymore, her only exists was him. I had to find out through her mother she was even in the hospital because for months I hadn’t heard from her because she cut everyone off for him. So there she was in the hospital bad healthy mentally and physically. No friends(I’m still here of course) and no job.

This don’t only happen with bf GF relationships and marriages this happens with family to.itll cause bad greif. Not healthy at all. So love hard keep a wall up at the sametime. Still have your own life don’t make someone your life.

      • Perfectly put. As in the example of Bobby and his father. The father tried to live through his son, who wanted his own life. As with your GF… I have seen it many times. And the man just gets to the point he escapes because he can’t breathe for both of them.

My daddy left The Bahamas and also my husband. Very likely they both had the same reasons for not wanting to go back. They married American women that they could not convince to go back home with them. 🙂 But I think even if they weren’t married, when they left their native land, they had no intention of ever returning. It was a personal choice.

As far as the person sending you a nasty tweet … Eh! That’s to be expected. At least you know people see and read what you write! But thank goodness for delete and block buttons. Can you please tell me what is “NSFP”? (O.o)

    • The point is, I am sure, if I were from the Bahamas, living in the Bahamas, and wrote about a current political situation in the Bahamas your husband would NOT attack me as if I were bad mouthing his country and my opinion is subordinate to his. That is the point.

He is NOT there. Sure, John can ring him up and say blah blah, and Tom can text him and say blah blah, but I am living here, day after day, so when I describe a political situation, i.e. that the general election only got 43% of all registered voters, and 30% of all registered voters in the Local, I am not making it up. Those are real statistics.

    • Noses can be such a disappointment. There are those that you can tolerate but there are those who are unbearable. I thank God that through my work experience I haven’t heard a boss who has been over bearing to the point of shouting or hawling at people. Am one of those people who cannot stand a noisy or abusive boss I don’t think I can contain all that rubbish. I mean am just as human as you are why can’t you treat me with respect just like I do to you. What people forget is that even though you are my boss, that should not give you the mandate to walk all over me like an nothing. Most of the time if you find such bosses walking all over their employees most of those employees are usually more smarter than that are. If this kind of treatment goes on for long the best thing is to leave that company before you are sacked for being rude. You ar3 better off out then being in a situation where you cannot even grow because of negative treatments all through.
