oh gosh, really? no men in the popular box?
I guess it is the number of participation of each writer should be considered, not the race or sex gender
since support had answered, i think it is fair and square

How did I miss this Post 😀 Actually what you see there is outdated and needs to be updated. @support could tell us why it is not updated.

@Scheng1 But I thought each time a blog is viewed one earns. @suny is the best one here to comment on it.
@suny Criticism has a place and that is normally sent as feedback.
@Lee ka And that criticism should be sent as feedback and not as a comment on a blog that the world sees.
@shaloo walia I too am fully in favour of constructive criticism. Constructive criticism is needed and that is why there is a thing called ‘feedback’ And that is where constructive criticism is normally seen. i have done that many times and I have seen results with that.
@Lee Ka Constructive criticism is the backbone of any set up which is what we all should be doing.

@shaloo walia Personally I don’t mind any comments from a registered member because even I write negative comments about other sites about matters that I do not like. It is the job of moderators and admin to see what they want to keep or what they want to delete. Incidentally, I deleted 12 comments on one site that I myself moderate. But those…[Read more]

To be fair, it is quick to earn here, because there is upfront payment.
However, the lack of passive income (eg income for page views on our blogs) means that we have to work hard to write to earn $10 or $20 a month.
The minute we stop writing, and participating, the income stops.
It is different from those sites that do not have upfront…[Read more]

Actually I am fine with the comment. Firstly, I think LB team is really respectful and kind as they even published posts that do not talk only good things about them, which I think they are doing something good. As LB is a blogging site, I think it should allow members to express their opinions freely, as long as they do not against the rules. I…[Read more]

I tend to share almost any good post on Stumbleupon, regardless of the topic. On Pinterest, I share if I have a board that fits and I think the post will interest my Pinterest pals. I also tend to pin some of the best posts to group boards where they will gain more exposure.
I use Google+ as a bit of a catchall, like StumbleUpon. If the content…[Read more]

@kaka135 I find it awkward to read and respond to other users’ wall updates here on LB. You’re right: it was much easier to keep up with the news on BlogJob because of the notifications and the timeline feature.
I think these things are not necessarily standard features when a site like LB sets up its forums and profile pages. They probably…[Read more]
That’s how I’ve been finding my mentions too, Grace. It does take extra time, though. Which means I’m less inclined to take the time to check if I’m busy with other things. As you say, we all divide our time between different activities on different sites as well as offline.

@Ruby3881 I look everywhere specially on the right hand side where we read activities of users here. The site is still young and I am sure they are aware of what improvements are required for its smooth functioning.
I am getting the little orange pop-up notifications for mentions but when I look in mentions or notifications, nothing is there. I hope I’m not missing anybody! I hope @support can figure out why the notifications aren’t displaying or redirecting properly….

@peachpurple I wish your son all the best with his exam! I hope he will achieve very good grades.
I just got my oldest daughter’s transcript of marks for the past 3 years in the mail today. I am very proud of her! She got very high grades.
In my time, they would have called her marks “high honours.” I think today, they only put “Achievement…[Read more]

@Ruby3881 Now stop lecturing will you? 😀 These are the words that I often hear from youngsters around me but here a senior has to say it.Never mind. Happy that you are able to interact here as I see you are busy- keep the tempo going.
Harsh words, Grace? Surely you overestimate how mean you are! I know when you grumble that you’re just feeling left out. Your bark has always been much bigger than your bite.
I tend to just pass over those words that are written when friends are being unkind, anyway. Most times, the deeper meaning is that someone’s feelings have been hurt and…[Read more]
@Ruby3881 But my harsh words brought you back here. Now don’t run away but make up for lost time. You owe that much atleast as you have earned good here. 😀
