my reply to your rant.
LB had approved and published my post yesterday and today.
I had submitted 2 posts yesterday, one published yesterday and the other published today.
Seems like admin could publish 1 post per day for one user is it?
Anyway, I am trying out today again to see whether my guess is…[Read more]

well you sure are lucky!
It took 12 hours for my post to be published.
The fastest speed would be several hours in the same day itself but not immediately or within an hour.
Maybe you post is unique or full of SEO keywords, so admin published your post.
Or maybe there isn’t many post to read…[Read more]

@Thank you so much. Just a question. I have uploaded several of my photos in my articles. Can they be uploaded here?
bestwriter replied to the topic A first time for me here at LB in the forum About LiteracyBase 8 years, 4 months ago
@suny Whatever be it. This is the first time for me. Normally it takes a full day and sometimes more for approving my blogs. 🙂

@bestwriter The site is very much up and running but they open the photo feature once in a year or so. You can register there and post one photo for trial purpose and if they accept it you may go ahead and post as many as you want. The rate is Rs 10 per photo. I have posted all my photos within 2-3 months last year.

I posted a blog a couple of minutes ago and what do you know it has already received approval. This is the first time that a blog has been approved at such speed. I am happy .
What about you? Do share your moments.
@oksummers I get those Arrays but the moment I attend to them by going to my notifications they disappear and only reappear when there are new notifications. Have you tried doing that? Every single Array that we see is translated into notifications.
They do approve although it takes a bit longer. Better than not approving at all as is h…[Read more]

ok my rant! Array will not go away and now i have 4 of them and it seems like LB is taking longer to approve blog post. wish they would just post automatically so that one can begin sharing and commenting. other than that…nice to see a site that pays. do you think more sites like this will start to pop up?
@suny I never heard of this site before. Pity it is or has closed down. Happy for you that you were able to earn through your photos. I have a whole lot of them myself but never thought of selling them so far.
@peachpurple and @bestwriter I have been trying my hands on professional photography for last few years and have earned lot of money selling my photographs to an Indian website that paid upfront for each of my 4000 photos. I use the same username on that site. I will not go in detail of the site as the program is now suspended for time being b…[Read more]
@Ruby3881 There everything is written on the page that supports those images. The rules whether an image is available for free is clear with the condition that we give credit to the owners of images and posting the link of that page takes care of that.
@peachpurple I have enough images of my own to cater to the whole world 😀 Depending on what my blog is about I sometimes need to go on the Net to get suitable images.

@bestwriter Wikimedia was one of my favourite sources, some years ago. I still use them occasionally. I can see why you’d prefer them 🙂
@sunil Pixabay is a provider of public domain (and therefore free to use) images. It is not generally described as royalty-free because of the confusion with pay to use sites like Shutterstock. Pixabay’s…[Read more]
wow, lots of comments on shutterstock images and pixabay.
i use my own self taken photos with my smartphone or use wikipedia or pixabay images.
Of course, I do put in the source of images in all my posts, as you can see them
@ bestwriter I agree with you but with some difference
here is what is mentioned on every photo in Wikimedia/Wikimedia Commons
But you can see that only if you go deeper and check details-
I, the copyright holder of this work, hereby publish it under the following license:

@Ruby3881 When I mentioned royalty free here I had Pixabay in my mind because I won’t touch an image from shutterstock unless I am using them for a purpose (or someone is paying me for those images for his blog/article as I do ghostwriting sometimes too but in most case I leave the image part to author himself).
And permission to use Images and V…[Read more]
@Ruby3881 I will stick to Wikimedia commons images where everything is crystal clear. For me pixabay is a chapter closed issue now. I always used wikimedia commons images and that will be my choice and no other.
@bestwriter A royalty is a payment that is made to an artist (an actor, musician, writer, photographer, etc.) when that artist’s work is used in a commercial project that earns money. It’s kind of like a sales commission, but instead of being based on the sale of a product or service, it is paid for the permission to use a copyrighted work. When…[Read more]
@bestwriter They give you tool to delete the watermark too if you pay them annual/image fee. Pixabay is one of their sister concern which generally carries first row of Shutterstock images with watermark but those images are not for free use.
By the way, you can become a member and upload your images and if they get selected you get a r…[Read more]
