My mother is one who also collects all the toiletries when she travels. She saves them up to give to the children when they need to go away for a few days on a field training exercise, or what have you, rather than keeping them as a souvenir.

I can understand the appeal, though! I used to always collect brochures, playbills, and postcards when I visited somewhere. I had a huge stack of these at one point. I later shifted my focus to bookmarks, which this bibliophile found much more useful. I had a little goldfish bowl full of fancy bookmarks I’d bought when I shopped for books 🙂

It’s interesting to know about those advertising methods. I am horrible at marketing, never done it before, and if I need one day to advertise something, I would probably pay to someone to do it for me. For every job, there are people who know how to do it the proper way.
