bestwriter wrote a new post, Semi rural towns are ideal for retired senior citizes 8 years, 3 months ago

We spent our prime life in the city both holding responsible positions with multi nationals.  As long as we were working we did not mind the hussle and bussle of city life although apart from our jobs there was […]

    • At least you have a very nice abode this time free from noise and flood. Those senior citizens who prefer to stay in a crowded city is , they might lack some funds to buy a house of their own.Owning a business and house and lot now is so expensive.

    • Not sure. I have not retired yet and don’t really have any plans to, but I think the seniors who usually stick around in the cities are staying nearby for the sake of their children and grandchildren. That’s why I would stay. But I wouldn’t be miserable. If I’ve made that choice to spend my golden years that way, I’m not going to wake up each day and complain about being there. After all, I’m grown. It was my decision. 🙂

bestwriter wrote a new post, There is so much we do not know about animals 8 years, 3 months ago

The first thought that comes to our mind when we talk of dogs and cats is that they cannot get along. In fact the saying ‘Fighting like cats and dogs’ has a permanent standing. This thinking is wrong. There a […]

    • That’s so cuuutttteee 😀 We also have pets in our house. We have ducks and chickens. They seem to be talking at times and they also play with our dog jingjing. I enjoy seeing them hang out with each other.

    • It is only those who have witnessed such bonding will know that animals do get along with species other than their own

    • I can imagine that scene of your dog and ducks and chickens all mixing and mingling. Must be such a great sight.

    • You say right my friend really most of the people do not about the nature of animal and more than this man does not his own nature because animal can live together if we tame together at home we all have seen they live together and play together even the animal of opposite nature as dog and cat, snake and man, lion and man….

But alas, man is full of wisdom and cannot live together even brothers and sisters at one home under the parents’ protection and guideline. Where is the problem lies?

As we all see man’ separation from from, man’s separation from wife, man’s separation from children, man’s separation from friends, man’s separation from relatives, man’s separation from nature, man’s separation from God and man’s separation from universe…

What we are doing give example of fierce animal they live together we human beings cannot live together , I ask, why? ask you heart! what is reason behind it nothing hate and jealousy, the princess of darkness had made our hearts black with smoke of greed, hate and jealousy.

We all human beings will have to think to save our future generation.

The site has to earn and therefore they will pay more for blogs that have a SEO presence.

It depends on you. If you want to have fun writing,  may be you could sacrifice your earnings and tell all about your love life.  On second thoughts these kind of revelations may earn you much more than the SEO friendly   😀

The alligator has nothing to do  with the site but the ISP.  If you wait for some time the site will open as soon as the ISP connects you.

bestwriter wrote a new post, How to prepare your own compost 8 years, 3 months ago

A lot is being said about the damage artificial fertilizers cause to the produce and even to  the soil. It renders the soil useless after a while. Once the plants or trees get used to artificial manure they will […]

    • Good post. Wow it take such a long time to make homemade compist but if you could recycle garbage, then it is worth to try it out.

    • I have many pits and I get compost round the year. I do not use artificial fertilisers in my garden

    • Yes it is a good article on how put aside extra material as leaves, garbage…Before you start piling on, recognize that there are two types of composting: cold and hot.

Cold composting is as simple as collecting yard waste or taking out the organic materials in your trash (such as fruit and vegetable peels, coffee grounds and filters, and eggshells) and then corralling them in a pile or bin. Over the course of a year or so, the material will decompose.

Hot composting is for the more serious gardener, and you get compost in one to three months during warm weather. Four ingredients are required for fast-cooking hot compost: nitrogen, carbon, air, and water. Together, these items feed microorganisms, which speed up the process of decay

To create your own organic hot-compost heap, wait until you have enough materials to make a pile at least 3 feet deep. Then, to ensure an even composition of materials, create alternating 4- to 8-inch-deep layers of green materials (kitchen scraps, fresh leaves, coffee grounds) and brown materials (dried leaves, shredded paper, untreated sawdust).

Sprinkle water over the pile regularly so it has the consistency of a damp sponge. Don’t add too much water — otherwise the microorganisms in your pile will become waterlogged and drown. If this happens, your pile will rot instead of compost.

Check to see if your pile is decomposing by monitoring temperature. Check the temperature of the pile with a thermometer, or simply reach into the middle of the pile with your hand.

    • We have small bins where we mix soil and vegetable and fruit peelings. We turn this compost every time and leave it open so it will get some moisture. Here in the tropics, it’s somewhat easy to generate your own compost pile.
