Feeling tired! Just worked on getting some housekeeping for my blogs done. I need to do some work for hire, but it will have to wait. I’ll login and check to see how this new site works, but I’ll probably take a brain break after that & crochet a bit.

A friend was posting a ton of great washcloth, towel, and pot holder patterns a few night ago.…[Read more]

I finally crossed the finish line as well, when my last three posts published earlier today. I am very pleased that I was able to get in my redemption request. Now, to make it back up to the first dollar again….

I have a question for those who redeemed: do you have a strategy for next month? Will you wait to see if you are paid, keep working…[Read more]

I’ve never been one to get lots of member referrals, even if I’m one of the people who first spreads the word about a site. I wish I could offer some advice, but I think really it comes down to a lot of folks already having signed up, or people preferring to sign up under their closest friends (even if someone else actually told them about the site…)

When I started this group “Making Money On-line” I started it because I’m always on the look out for ways to make money. Ā I’m running into sites where they pay you for just referring people to the site. Ā I’m NOT good at referring people to sites to join. Ā Most of the time my friends are already using the site (yeah, I’m the last to know about th…[Read more]

    What is your favourite colour?
Iā€™ve long disliked that question, because I donā€™t like having to choose just one of anything. Especially when it comes to colours. I mean, there are so many rich and luscious hue […]

    • My favorite color is any shade of purple. I responded to your challenge on the forums and as you will see – the first color I picked was a shade of purple to fit my name. I think it has something to do with purple being the color of royalty. I grew up never feeling important and often times I still feel looked over or forgotten even as an adult. Purple gets you noticed! In high school, I even had dark plum purple hair for a time.

    • My son loves peach and purple, that is how I got my username.
I don’t know why he chose these 2 colors because they don’t contrast with each other.

However, I am keen to join this challenge.
      Thanks for the suggestion.

Your name is beautiful, very unique

    • This is a neat challenge. I wonder what my colors would be. None of my favorites like Turquoise.

    • Let me see if I can churn out a post on Grace (lol)

    • thanks for your useful tips.
I do noticed that most wordpress blogs openings are rants about what to cook for today, something going on in the household, pets problems before they head for the topic of the title.

I didn’t know that the first 5 sentences were the crucial keywords to lead high search in google.

      Thanks for your reminder

    • Another way of looking at it is to write for the search engines.
That is when keyword density comes in.
If we are focus on writing informative articles with enough keywords, we will not ramble on and on about our own problem.

    • I suppose I have the gift of the gab to hit the nail on the head šŸ˜€

    • Yes, the opening paragraph smut be meaning full and explaining the the next coming events thus the readers will find interest in your post and will read fully from the beginning till end.

Some people will share or like an article simple based on whether they think their friends will like the articleā€™s title. More likely, however, is that your title encourages someone to read your excellent content.

You might write a title that you really love and think is clever as hell but unless it is leading to these types of responses you will be wasting your time.

It takes a lot of practice and it also requires a lot of testing to see what works and what sort of tiny variations you can make to elicit a big change in performance.

But there are some things you can do every time, sort of like a routine, to ensure that you get the best possible chance of success.

Todayā€™s post is not going to be a formula that you can follow ā€“ mostly because I donā€™t follow one myself. Rather, what I want to do is just give you a few different things that you can think about and do each time you sit down to write.

Always know who you are writing for and what issues they are having. Successful websites that are aimed at professional corporates ā€œfeelā€ completely different to music sites for teenagers. Thatā€™s important.

Kyla Matton Osborne (Ruby3881) wrote a new post, Are You Excited About Your First Cash Out? 8 years, 5 months ago

Monthā€™s end means the end of an earnings period here at LiteracyBase. Because many of us are fairly new to the site, this will be our first cash out period. That always brings a certain degree of excitement ā€“ and […]

    • True, I missed the days of writing for Helium and then republished in Associated Content for page views too.
I like the Clout structure in Associated Content.
I think I reach Clout 6 and then they decided not to pay international writers.

    • Yes it is sure that getting cash pleasure is more than any other thing on internet but in earning on internet luck favors surely and man does nothing but real life more do more and luck does nothing thus the result remains zero in online earning.

One of the fundamental keys to successfully managing your finances is successfully managing your personal character. Wealth is not merely a matter of how much money you have, but what kind of person you are. Give a man who loves pleasure one dollar and it will be spent on what a dollar can buy.

Give him one hundred dollars and one hundred dollars will be spent. He says give me a million and I shall be satisfied. So give him a million and he will spend a million dollars before he knows it.

A person who has not acquired wealth in his life will often say, ā€œif only I made this much money, I would be able to save and have no financial worries.ā€ However, as time goes by and his pay increases, he finds that he has no more money than he did before.

All that has happened is that his expenses have increased to match the increase in pay. In the world, we have those who make little and those who make much. No matter how much a person makes, if he loves pleasure, the money will be spent to the full and he will be poor.

    • I have written for other sites and, like you, have gotten paid. As I read your blog, I was encouraged about how working on this site can improve writing. What you shared is so true. For my last blog, I had to do some picture searching, proof-read my work and share via the social media. I agree that there is excitement generated when others read your site. This site is great and I am hopping to see my first pay soon. Thanks for sharing.
