@kaka135 Ouch! That’s a huge size in both size and aspect ratio! I’ve had a similar issue where an image I added to a post was enlarged and the aspect ratio was changed – even though I had submitted an image that was sized to match the size restrictions that were displaying in the dialog box when I uploaded it to the site. It’s very frustrating to…[Read more]

@kaka135 Thanks for the heads up about StumbleUpon not accepting the short links! I usually just hit the “Stumble” button without trying to share a shortened link or one that includes my referral code. Because once a page is indexed on StumbleUpon it’s a simple “thumbs up” for each subsequent person who wants to Stumble the page, I tend to leave…[Read more]

My dear @dawnwriter, all those mentions of chicken dishes have my mouth watering. And I have only just recently eaten!
I love hearing about all the wonderful dishes my friends in Asia prepare, but I often find I am not sure what the food is like. I think many of us in the West would love to read posts that explain the different foods. This is a…[Read more]

@sunil I believe that is the size of image I included with my last submission, so we will see how it fares when the post publishes.
Unfortunately, when we create images for social media sharing, each site has different optimal sizes. The 640×480 px image that works as a featured image on many sites is too wide and not tall enough for Pinterest,…[Read more]

We recycle aluminum cans and scrap metal. In these ways that we recycle we make money from them as well. There use to be a place where I use to live that they would even pay you per pound for your old clothes. I’m sure you can sell things that you don’t need to pawn shops and consignment stores as well.
Other ways to recycle and NOT make m…[Read more]

Another question for @Admin or @Support to clarify: are we allowed to add video (e.g. from YouTube) to enhance our posts? I know the option to add media from a URL is there, which in theory means we should be able to add video. But I have had it happen on other sites that the admin say videos are banned, only after users have inserted them.
I…[Read more]

@kaka135, sorry I didn’t respond sooner, didn’t notice I had a second page of comments!! lol The site was INTERWRK, you have to use Firefox though. It paid a few cents every day directly to PayPal. It use to anyway!!
@kaka135 Yes, it’s true that Pinterest doesn’t like the short links. They do generally work on both Twitter and Google+, however. And on Facebook they seem pretty reliable – although sometimes the image that gets shared won’t be the one you expected to see!
For Pinterest, if you click the “See it now” button when the pin is first created, you can…[Read more]
