Indeed it is a better plan to read any text/book. It would obviously improve ones’s reading skills. One can save a lot of time by following these important steps. you are right. Skimming is really very important.
skimming means to have a general view of contents of the book. It also includes study of the list of contents. This practice enables the reader to know what kind of book he is going to read. -
