The short statured Ashoka was very ruthless and caused immense casualties during the battle of Kalinga. While he had got some opportunity to witness the victory in the battle suddenly he perceived the intensity and stubbornness with which the people of Kalinga were sacrificing their life for the sake of their land. This has turned and moved his…[Read more]

I think each and every person will be suffering from one kind of depression or the other. But, the severity lies in experiencing the symptoms with frequency. If one experiences the symptoms regularly for 15 or 20 days they require some consultation or treatment from a specialist. These are all due to the activities of man-made creations. In olden…[Read more]

Happiness does not know boundaries….everything past, present, and the future is the tools for happiness. If memories are of the past, experiences are meant for the present, and the inventions and discoveries are meant for future.
Happiness lies in simplicity

Thanks. This is a very nice article cautioning people what to do in case of emergencies. There are some people who by virtue of their ignorance meet with calamities. The fire accidents are common nowadays and in the villages as most of the houses are made of dry grass they catch fire easily even by a small fire from a match stick. The fire due to…[Read more]

It is really interesting to read the post. I never knew that no birds fly over this temple and also about the flag fluttering always in the direction opposite to the wind flow. I also came to know about the archeological discovery of the dried river. Really interesting. If I happened to visit this temple I will certainly make use of this…[Read more]

It was for this day I tried to be in Banaras and watch the events there. But, I am unfortunate. I could not get His permission. I remained at home as usual and performed the pooja. But, this time the vibrations were very severe in me when I was chanting PANCHAKSHARI. I felt it within myself. It was really a great feeling. If everything goes…[Read more]

It has been advised by the Doctors that sometimes combination of two things could be bad for our health. While taking milk, one should not consume citrus fruit with milk, except Phyllanthus emblica, also known as emblic, emblic myrobalan, myrobalan, Indian gooseberry. Also, honey and clarified butter should not be consumed together.

Yes, both has to go through same set of tests. Not only for Thalassaemia but also other diseases and blood group compatibility. Especially in India, marriage is fixed by caste, gotra etc; they should give priority for blood test.

True staying rooted in the present is the ideal situation taking each day at a time and making the best out of it. The analogy of the football and goalkeeper is aggressive but can work wonders as one cannot sit idle mulling if a plan fails. Instead if the individual devises a new counter strategy to effect a change in the situation and keeps…[Read more]

Treat a woman like fellow human being. Generally, a wife enters your house expecting some hope and support from you. If you deny them, she will go shattered and the trouble starts and may go to any extent. Of course, no lady is timid nowadays to bear with tauntings of the husband. There are still some ladies who are docile and degrade themselves…[Read more]
