@Cely that is wonderful news. I am sure you are very anxious about the change that is going to occur soon. I hope things work out well for you. I wish I had the opportunity to work abroad. Just remember you will still have us here in LB cheering you on. You will never be alone in a sense. I know you will miss all your friends and family. What part of New Zealand are you moving to? I have a friend that lives there that I sometimes talk to in a chat room.

After reading your post I started thinking about how cool it would be to work in a different country for the first time. The only time I have been out of the United States was when I visited Mexico for a week with the church I was going to as a teenager. I just got my passport last December and I am ready to use it. I would like to go to Lebanon.

I am also trying to think of a topic that I could write about that I don’t need any research to write. I have a friend that wants me to write an article for his blog. I guess I’ll think of something. 🙂

I would hate it if we had blackouts like that. How did you ever survive without the internet? Seriously? I would go insane and would be grumpy until it came back on. I guess I am just used to having it on all the time that I never even thought about life without it. Maybe I should try a few hours without being stuck behind my computer screen.

I hope you stay safe from all of this bad weather that is going on in your area.

I am just now seeing this group/topic. Sorry for the delay. I am always thinking. Even when I don’t want to think I’m always thinking. I think in my sleep. I come up with some good writing ideas when I’m sleeping but by the time I wake up I forget what the ideas are. 🙁

I try to read anything that I see on LB. If I have something to say I’ll try my best to leave a good comment. Now if we could remember everything that we actually thought about in a single day might be awesome, scary, and just plain scary. My thing is I get distracted in my thoughts.

I use a different name here than I do on other writing sites. People have a way of saying negative things about each other without having any knowledge about that person. For example, if someone here doesn’t like xx then that person will write and say xx did this and that when in fact the person spreading the lies is at fault majority of the times and is only trying to protect themselves.

As for the name EvilElf? It’s a name I normally use when I am in chat rooms while using IRC. I’m EvilElf on the EvilNet.org chat network. It’s just something that stuck with me. Normally I go by my first name.

@Your Seldom Where are you seeing this at Askmoko? I don’t see any questions about TinyCent there. I did find talk about it on Forumcoin where a few members here were talking about the site. I saw where someone got a text message in WhatsApp stating they will be getting paid soon.

I wouldn’t trust the site from this point moving forward. If they don’t honor the agreement the set forth then I don’t see why anyone would want to continue working there.

@Shavkat Even if you do delete your articles from there, they will still be indexed by Google. Meaning the site will still be earning from you if someone clicks on the link through google. You can always ask Google to deindex the articles but here lately they have been denying this request from all people asking.

I was once low on cash and needed gas. I stopped at the gas station to use the last bit of money I had on gas. I saw something on the ground that I thought was $1 a bill. I picked it up. I opened it since it was folded and it turned out to be 2 one hundred dollar bills. It was like someone knew I needed the money.

I kept the money and went bought some groceries with it. We needed it. I was so happy I found it. The kids were even happy.

@nakitakona13 So you are just assuming I am worried about this? Anyone with common sense will know that there is no use of having more than one group that is talking about the same issue. Why would you even bring up the issue about someone’s grammar? Not everyone here speaks English so I don’t expect everything to be properly written. You then go on to mention respecting others. Have I disrespected anyone? But you missed the whole point of what I wrote in my original post. Why do we have groups with no topics in them? Why do we have more than one group of the same name or category? This has nothing to do respect or with grammar. Then at the end of your rant, you mention about payment. I’m sorry but my topic has nothing to do with payment. So quite frankly you don’t know my problem.

@Anitah Gimase Most of these people starting new groups will start the group then disappear. Some never come back. I just don’t understand what the purpose of creating something if they don’t write anything in it.

@jhsayyar Maybe you are right. Maybe they thought this site was a quick way to earn a buck and when they found out it wasn’t they left. Who knows. But we need to have more topics that will be around for a long period of time.

BTW, if TinyCent is paying by PayPal they wouldn’t have been able to make a payment through them today because of the DDoS that was happening in the United States. I just read an article stating that some customers were unable to send payments today. You can read about that here:

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-cyber-paypal-idUSKCN12L2KR?utm_campaign=trueAnthem:+Trending+Content&utm_content=580ac95104d3014c3107b1d9&utm_medium=trueAnthem&utm_source=facebook

PayPal wasn’t the only company affected during this DDoS attack. There were a whole bunch of others having problems. But I do hope you get your money soon.

I would hate to hear that they have stopped paying altogether and became another Bubblews in the long run. This is why it’s never good for sites to start paying at a higher rate than other sites. People may not like working for low rates but they need to learn that sites do not make enough money off of ads alone to pay so many people at once.

I pray that you get your money that is owed to you. If you do will you stay? I think I only have one or two articles there. I’m never active because I don’t think it will last long. Too many greedy people are there.

I think this plagues people in every country that have debit cards. We all must be careful when we travel, even if it is for a short distance. Criminals will find any way possible to gain access to your private information. Some will even send you a bogus email from a company you may use stating something is wrong with your account. Some will even set up fraudulent websites to look like legitimate sites. We all should stay alert at all times and question things when they look out of place or even strange.

@Shavkat, actually those with learning disabilities can still learn but will have a much harder time doing so. Depending on the disability the person has, there are many different ways of teaching something. I am hard of hearing in my right ear. So I can hear almost nothing in it. So I would need a person to talk to me on my left side at all times. When something like this occurs then visual aids come in handy. I think this is why most instruction manuals come with pictures in them. But the one teaching should always take their time teaching.

A person can be filled with all of the book knowledge possible but if that person doesn’t have a little bit of what we call street knowledge then they will never survive. This has to do with working in a career and living life in general. I can read all the books about parenting but it can never prepare me for the real world challenge of being a mother. Just like in school, they don’t teach you how to act at a job or what you should know already. It also doesn’t teach you how to act to certain situations in the workplace.

I had to learn a lot of things on my own. I try to teach that to my kids as well. There are certain things they will have to learn on their own. I will be there to guide them but I can’t make the choices for them.

We miss you as well @Cely. Some days I have very slow internet as well. But this week I have been hit by the migraine bug twice. The first time it lasted almost three days with a small break and now it’s back again. I am just at $3 myself. I’m in no hurry to cash out. I know this site isn’t going anywhere soon.

You be safe in the Philippines. I heard your president is getting rid of all ties with the United States and getting into an agreement with China. I wish the best for you and your family. As well as others that live there.

October 21, 2016 at 7:34 pm

@cely, dear, you had no way of knowing how the site was going to be since you were not able to register. You did your part by telling us about it the best you knew how. I just didn’t want you wasting your time with a site that makes you pay. Sometimes we have to look out for each other in this writing world. 🙂 So no need to apologize.

I guess it all depends on what I am doing at the time I am writing. But the majority of the time I have to be in the mood to write. So I will go days without writing and then again I could write many articles in one day. It just depends on my mood.

I try to stay away from articles that can be emotionally driven. I usually post these on my personal blog. Reason being I know no one will read them there and I can say what I want and use colorful words. When I am writing for sites like LB, I try to write what I think other people want to read. I only have two articles here at the moment.
