Thanks, Giving Day is celebrated in the U.S with utter devotion to the deceased elderly people, religious heads, and loved ones. Each country is having its own way of celebrating it. In the U.S it is celebrated remembering the elders and the loved ones. The big gathering will be there. All fat meals with varieties of food mark the day of the Thanks Giving Day.
It is being followed as a custom and Tradition all over U.S So, if anybody wants to celebrate it with different orientation the significance of the very celebration becomes questionable. I think it would be appropriate to allow it flow freely binding all the U.S citizen together.

We usually have it on New Year’s eve, to have good life, more blessings ahead. A basket or fruit tray is filled with 12 different kinds of round fruits to signify a year-long abundance.

That’s nice! Taking every opportunity to earn instead of wasting time. Some of us are just here for the love of writing, and earning at the same time is a bonus. Yes. I do my best to create accounts with the same user name otherwise I might forget who I am. 😀 Just kidding. I have tried creating accounts with different names and ended up confusing myself. If that is the case with Alexander the Great, I wonder really why he is called the Great.
Though, for those who died and were declared heroes or great, they never knew they became one. Their greatness or heroism is always recognized once they are are dead.
Sad, but this is always the case, and I think you will agree with me.
In your 30 years of life , you were happily married, but Alexander died . What a contrasting life you and Alexander experienced. 🙂

Yes I agree with you. What is even sadder is Alexander’s is sort of a mystery. Have read different accounts and some say it a murder and others say it was a disease. And as if his death was not bad enough, what they did to his wife and child after he died was even more horrific. He sure wasn’t treated as if people thought he was great!
