It’s true, we should learn to conserve water because ground water is depleted fast if people continuously pump it and just waste it. Recycling is one of the means of conserving it.

I have seen many cities in India facing significant water deprivation, most probably for drinking water. They have to buy drinking water on regular basis.
Life cycle of atmosphere revolves around water but sadly this is the most wasted thing on the earth. People just don’t care about it.-
Manju – Yes, you are very right that there is even scarcity of drinking water and even in cities like New Delhi, people buy bottled water. In many places of India, even proper drinking water is not available. Those people who are lucky enough to get potable water, do not understand the importance of water and waste it and even wash their cars/bikes and water their garden with potable water. We should save water at every cost.
