Nice to hear about the first earning of @peachpurple,I got my first online learning in 2012, and it was around 2500 Indian rupees for an Indian site. Similar to literacy base, it included contests, forums and article writing. It was equivalent to around 37-38 dollars

My first online payment was from the site where I am a teaching assistant and I made $10 writing notes for a student.

I have earned at least 10 cents on one online job I had and it really wasn’t worth it

I would say all those who are here and elsewhere on sites that demand writing would be termed as freelancers and with such definition I am a freelancer.
