some people brag about their wealth, their knowledge but not knowing that they are just a bunch of fools.

Brag as a joke is alright but bragging infront of others for the purpose of saving pride and face isn’t a positive point.

By the way, I haven’t heard of anyone bragging about Jesus Christ yet

peachpurple wrote a new post, 5 Words Your Teenager Wanted To Hear From Parents 8 years, 3 months ago

Every parent loves his/her child, including grown up teenagers.
Most working parents are busy with work 6 days a week, spending no time for their children at home but they should let them know how much they love […]

    • My mom and dad never said all of these to me. I agree that parents should tell these to their teenager children so that they wont feel neglected. When I was in elementary I am the salutatorian of my class. I always join academic contests and fortunately, I often win. Other people especially my teachers tell me that they are very proud of me and my parents are so lucky to have me. While my parents? They never told me that. They always care more about my younger siblings and that made me think that I am and will never be important to them. How I wish now that I am in college they can tell me those words even just for once.

    • Very informative.

    • You have just given me a head start on parent hood. this is something that i will hold very close to my heart, to always remember those points that you have shared. Yes it is true that teenagers shy away from somethings because they don’t want to be seen as kids. but thee is always a way of letting them know that they are loved even though you don’t tell them. very informative.

    • Every body on earth has prestige and ego that develops with the passage of time and demands attentions of the parents because children are just like flowers whose pruning is must as season comes. Flowers wand care just like children want words as love, my son, my cute and brave son..it do nothing but give encouragement that is must for flourishing natural abilities.

The task of parenting is a constantly changing one as the growing needs and abilities of our children change over time. There is no ‘one-size fits all’ way to parent. What works for one child may not work for another. What worked when children were two years old may not work when they are four.

Children grow and develop at different rates. While their developmental pathways may differ, most pass a set of predictable milestones along the way. It is normal for children to experience developmental spurts and slow spots in different areas of their development over time. If your child is a little ahead or a little behind at a certain age – this is normal. Most of the time, given the right nurturing and stimulation, all children will catch up in the end.
All children have different strengths and vulnerabilities. Some are good at sport, others music. Some are very academic and others not. Some are highly anxious and others are more relaxed. Some children are good sleepers and others wake through the night for years.

Hence, we always had to finish our food till the last drop.

Dad had a hard time earning money, bringing home money to feed us.

Ok, I admit it, I am addicted, super addicted to Coffee in the morning !

Sometimes, I could have 2-3 cups of coffee per day but that would lead me to insomnia.

The problem with coffee is I cannot get to sleep the whole night until 7am the next…[Read more]

but you write far more than me, everyday i could see at least 5 posts of yours, isn’t it?

if 10 cent per post, at least you had earned 50 cents, plus commenting, you should earn another 10 cents.

that makes around $18 per month, is my calculation wrong?

    worst than yours!

However if my internet speed goes up to 10mbps, i don’t see the alligator screen.

i think it has to do with the internet speed especially if i post new article with images, the situation worsen

peachpurple wrote a new post, Vegetarian Recipe: Vegetable Frittata 8 years, 3 months ago

This week, I am trying to encourage my family members to adapt to vegetarian meals for a change.

Hence, you can set your eyes on my vegetarian recipes for the whole week which are simple to prepare and healthy […]

    • Frittatas are great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It used to be an inexpensive meal to feed several people. But lately eggs are really expensive at our local grocery stores. Eating a frittata now is like a luxury.

    • Would adding eggs make this a vegetarian dish? Just asking. Ofcourse there are some who do not eat meat but do not mind eggs. I thought for them there was a term – eggetarians.

    • Yes, it is a very delicious dish for all of us if we it at home. Lats Friday ate it at the hotel. Made this today using my cast iron skillet, cooked perfectly at about 25 minutes. Flavor was good, but too salty for my taste. I don’t use a lot of salt when I cook, so will definitely cut back next time.

I also used salted butter, which didn’t help. The Gruyere at my local store was $16, so I opted for the sharp cheddar I had on hand, another reason it may have been too salty. Next time I will use Gruyere or a less salty cheese. I also plan to add mushrooms, like another reviewer mentioned.

My family remembered this Frittata from last year and requested it again for Easter. I have made it a few times for guests and it’s always a hit. I use spinach in it just for the last few minutes of cooking to add a little color and another healthy component to the dish.

I absolutely enjoyed making this dish! Not only was the receipe easy to follow but my husband and our two young sons loved it! Can’t wait to make this again.
