Do you wanna give
up? Repeat after me.
WHY SHOULD I FEAR?
I can keep running all day
But where can I go?
My might comes and goes away
And nothing is there to show.
I know there’s joy for me..
That’ll wipe away my tears…
In my heart is this melody,
So why should I fear?
There’s this pain in my heart
Lingering there, day after day
Yet, I’ll never cleave apart..
Even tho’ I’m sore afraid..
In darkness, I’ll stay my haste,
No matter how hard I’m tried..
Surely, a light’s on the way..
So why should I cry?
I want to give up today..
And wail as much as I can
But I can hear a tender voice..
Whispering “no cause for alarm”..
Be it sweet or bitterness,
Tell life to give me more..
I’ll never fluster or relent..
Till I reach the future..
What’s mine shall know my face,
I care for gold no more..
No matter how slow my pace,
I’ll escape tho’ I may fall..
Be it in fire, I’ll fret not..
Tho’ no friends may care..
All I need are happy thoughts..
Tell me, why should I fear?
