Blogbourne seemed to be a very promising site when it was launched. But soon the things went haywire. Rules were changed. Personal bloggers were discouraged from writing on the site. Selective moderation made the things worse. I stopped writing there even though I was in the top four writers on the leaderboard. And they still haven’t declared the coin value, so there is no clear idea about the earning potential of the site. Today I have removed all my posts from the site. If the coin value is declared and it seems reasonable then I may consider writing there again.

I only have two articles at BlogBourne. Like you, I’m not motivated to write because I don’t know if it will generate earnings. Also, searching the site for topics of interest to me so that I can comment is not so easy. You can earn coins for comments. Were it not for the fact that I have friends there, I would likely not be at the site at all.

I posted an excellent piece.   I got a note and came over.  Oh, they liked my article but wanted some kind of image.   So my article was available for editing.

When I saw how they had brutalised my item I was so upset  I instantly deleted it and ran from the site.

This is not editing where one makes a spelling and/or grammatical mistake, this is changing my work.  No.

And on top of it is the idiots who don’t understand “Fair Use” which is the way we can use images.

The editor there is desparate for attention any which way. I deleted my posts a long time ago but forgot to save  😀  Just like you I will keep a watch and the day they say they will no longer murder our blogs I will get back there.

What prompted me to delete all my posts when I was at number one spot on that site was an instruction coming to replace all posts with different with different images. I could not find the edit button but when I replaced them

Then another editor asked me to write a disclaimer that the particular fruit I had written about had that particular benefit I had mentioned in my article so that site does not face legal problem. And what I had written was a common factor true for almost every or any fruit. I do not like someone telling me so small matters in such a bossy way so what I did, I deleted all my posts leaving just one as sign of my membership.

@suny I see more and more respectable writers leaving that site. Hope @ruby3881 knows about it, unless that is her plan.

Sometimes we have to take such hard decisions. You can focus here and may be also give a shot to mykites once more.

@shaloo walia I have done that so long ago. And also I have used those articles on other site which already paid me. I don’t know how in future this site will work. But at least we can work hard after certain things are clear.

@PEEUSH TRIKHA I have forgotten MYKITE but working on other sites which pay promptly with out making any fuss whatsoever. I will begin writing here from today onward after getting my payment from this site which is my regular routine from May 10th.

I am glad that I have not joined, though I have not been writing much anyway.

Fortunately they allow article deletion, so you can just delete the content and publish them elsewhere.

I thunk that site is inky using the people’s articles.They might want to personalized them in the coming years. I am so thankful I haven’t tempted myself to join there. I already have a phobia of sites like that with no clear promises and payment.@shaloo walia, I am so glad that you deleted all your posts. They might keep them during your absence.

Too many people do not understand copyright law.  They are too stupid to hire an attorney, too stupid to understand its definition.

Since we are dealing with stupid people who don’t understand the term ‘Fair Use’ .

To put it simply, the same image I could have used on Hubpages, Wikinut, Mylot, here, would be unacceptable at BB.

@ Treathyl FOX I had written many articles and was doing well but the changes rules demotivated me to write. I didn’t delete my posts earlier as I was waiting for coin value to be declared but it’s not worth the wait.

@ kaylar  I have heard from other writers too how the moderator changes the article in the name of editing.

@bestwriter I have not deleted my profile yet because I want to see what coin value they finally declare.

@suny  I remember that incident. I wasn’t subject to such article editing but I was put under moderation when I expressed displeasure on changed rules.

@naruto100  I plan to use the removed articles there. In fact posted some today.
