In the past few years the number of tiger killings and leopards with other wildlife including elephants has increased drastically. If severe punishment is not meted out to the perpetrators who indulge in poaching, wildlife illicit trade, trade of parts and products of wildlife. If government bodies remains as as toothless tigers when it comes to punishing the crime syndicates and mafias. All the parts of the wild animals like tigers are traded like the skin, bones, flesh, claws, genitals even the blood is consumed by humans and the young ones are reared to be killed and for the photo tourism industry and finally sold in the market for a hefty price. In some countries they are even breeding tigers like hens. This is the state of wildlife who we are supposed to appreciate, respect and live with together. There is no limit to human greed and shamelessness and this is the sad reality. If governments do not stop encouraging humans to pet tigers and other wild animals in the name of temple tourism, safari tourism where the tigers and big cats are snatched away from their mothers and reared like domestic dogs and cats by the rich in their farms and safari’s for money all over the world. It is debasing for them and for the right thinking people in the humanity. A tiger or any big cats place is the jungle and if we encroach on their space they tend to stray out of their zones, they also do so if proper food like deer or other wildlife in the food chain is not available and if there are drought conditions prevailing and there is lack of prey and water bodies. We humans ourselves do not know how to lead our lives properly at least leave tigers and other wildlife alone. Please read, like, share it and create awareness about this issue. If you happen to spot wildlife at any place in the city please call police or forest officials and move away from them. Do not provoke them, take selfies, beat them with sticks and stones and kill them. In case anyone is hurt please rush them to hospital and get them treated rather than taking the anger on the wild animal. In India generally elephants come to some cities as they have been built on their corridors or their migratory route. It is their place and route and that is why they come. We have also have panthers coming because they are highly adaptive and can travel miles together and live by stealth and hunt dogs, poultry and domestic cattle in villages and also towns they stray there as these places have expanded and moved into forest area. We have cases of tigers, lions and other big cats also coming into the city. Crocodiles, snakes, bears and pangolins too have been noticed. Unfortunately the people also gather in large numbers create a spectacle and when wildlife injures anyone over enthusiatic people among the crowd attack and kill it which is a unfortunate situation. Wildlife will hurt us only if they are startled, provoked, unwell, hurt, irritated and in bad mood, or are starving and hungry due to lack of food and in a unfamiliar territory where they have strayed by mistake. If tigers are there we have forests and if forests are there human race will survive. We owe it to our future generation. Share this with one and all with the message Save The Tiger.
