Any sort of killing or slaying of humans or wildlife should be banned as it is barbaric and the people who perform such acts would not like to be at the receiving end do they? The pain is always felt properly when the same is inflicted directly on us. Humans by nature are self destructive and greedy and would go to any extent to see that they would profit and make money even if it means killing humans, animals and wildlife and causing destruction of forests which cannot defend themselves.
The also shamelessly go and pluck fruits from the same trees and drink milk and take other services from animals and then show their ungratefulness. They also look what other economic benefits they can earn out of any activity like the fire cracker industry where humans are exploited especially children and ignorant people who burst them in huge numbers without knowing the consequences or blissfully ignoring them.
Many of the people go by the theory “I only celebrate the festival once in a year, others also do so, what big difference does it make, I am only a small drop of the total humanity so how does it matter”. What more is to be said as this thought process is born out of ignorance of elders in the house, the children obviously follow the elders footsteps. We end up having wrong role models and a disaster ready to happen.

Leave animals aside they do not care even for their own lot. As they feel what is good for them is the right thing and everything else is second priority. As the case of fire crackers which are burst during festivities of different kinds all over the world, India being no exception.
Humans have utter disregard to those who are aged, children, that is babies and young children and pregnant women, nursing mothers and people who are not having good health and suffering respiratory or heart problems especially or any other serious ailments. Along with, lots of birds, pets, domestic animals, wildlife and also forests, water bodies and trees, suffer a lot during and many days after bursting of crackers due to the smog and pollutants present in the air in the form of different poisonous gases which are suspended in the air.
This had become a big issue during last Diwali. In the north India especially and the country as a whole and crackers have been burst and all over the world during the New Year too. The problems caused are noise pollution, air pollution by green house gases, water getting contaminated and all living beings consuming the same. Animals, birds are more sensitive to sound and have more ears and nose compared to humans in many cases these senses are very well developed. Some of the pollutants are lead, magnesium, nitrates, sodium, gases like carbon monoxide, Ammonia, sulphur etc. Some others are used only for the dazzling effect or color which looks very nice to see but is very dangerous.
Burn injuries caused to humans and even animals. Birds getting disoriented due to brightness and sound affecting their biological clock. It also causes disorientation, temporary deafness and vision problems if the light is too bright. If one wants to burn crackers for religious reasons if it is so required, they can be done in very small and limited quantities as a last option. But ultimately this too has to be stopped.
It is also one of the major causes of accidents and eye and burn injuries which are serious increase during festival time. This can also cause breathlessness. Air pollution generally tends to go up by 30 to 40 percent depending on the area and if there is no air, stillness, no winds or rain it takes a longer time to disperse resulting in smog. Problems in the ozone layer can occur by these gases.
Traces of these poisons and metals can also be found in open water bodies and ground water in the form of toxic chemicals and gases which can also cause thyroid, heart, lung, lever and eye and ear problems and it can also affect the sensitive parts of the brain and nervous system. Animals drink water from open water bodies so do birds. Animals also consume grass which is polluted by these toxic chemicals and other paper and wastes are also ingested which reaches us through their milk which we consume. This also affects animals offspring too.
Birds eat insects which have died and have been poisoned by these fumes which affects them. Therefore the whole food chain becomes toxic in no time and humans will definitely suffer as they are one of the important part of the food chain. Further research is being done in this subject. A case study for this can be the Bhopal Gas Tragedy where children are even now born with genetic problems and blindness from the time of birth. It has long term implications which we tend to ignore.
Instead of this it can always be celebrated by lighting lamps, distributing sweets and presents or by conducting charity. You can spend a good time with your friends and relatives in a safe atmosphere. Humans have started breeding and are overpopulating the planet. The more we are the more the pollution and subsequent problems. This is food for thought.
How cleanly you want to celebrate without harming yourselves, other and the environment is a collective responsibility of both individuals and the governments too worldwide. It is as per the individual and collective choice we have to no option but to take.

These humans also call themselves wise, intelligent and what not. They also hold climate summits one after the other both at the level of each country and also globally. All agreements are good but the intent to implement is missing at the individual, society, local, state, national and world level.
Hope by the time next festival come where such crackers are used some better sense would have prevailed. This has to stop and it can be done only with you support. Hope is the basis on which the world runs and we survive, but we must also learn to be responsible and own up to the problems and be a part of the solution than remaining a problem. The choice is totally ours.

Yes brother men basically thankless to and His creatures on earth and just follow their own interest belonging to money and sex ignoring the blessing of animal and plants on men because they find them when they are born without labor as they find parents.

In festival people make  explosions is he production of illiteracy and nothing else because those who do such types of jobs their past becomes dark on earth and in heaven that is why they do so.

Those who read books and get high class degrees may not be called wise wise men on earth are just astrologer but perfect astrologer as the ancients were. If we ponder over the the things of nature all teach us just one lesson love all human beings and live peacefully.

Appreciate your opinion on the topic, hope people all over the world mend their ways for the better. The long term effects of all this pollution will be disastrous on the environment and for the future generations. Hope realisation dawns on all concerned.
