"You have a new reply…….."

When I click on that orange strip that tells me that there is a new reply it will take me to the forum but not to that reply. If the forum has 5 pages I need to get to the end of that 5th page. Is there anyother way I can straight away get to the reply?

I think there is no other way. By the time you are prompted that you have a new reply. You assume that you could go directly to that comment. Then you have clicked the button for a reply, but to your dismay, you are directed to the last portion of that post. It is because there are already several members who have already given their reactions or comments. It is good if there is none. You can be directed to immediately. Probably, it would be remedied to your expectation for it is also what we want for easiness of function. |

@bestwriter This is something which needs the attention of the technical staff of this site. It’s quite inconvenient. I hope they find a way to fix it soon! |

yeah, the link brings me to the 1st page, I had to click the last page in order to see the latest reply |

@support may be already aware of this and must have included it in the list of items they have plans to upgrade. |

@bestwriter, even I find the same problem everytime I click on the email I receive from this site. The site admin has to set it right. Not only this. There are several other problems too. I intend to bring out all those points in an article so as to highlight the problems faced by the members of this site. |

@bestwriter I have put all notification from this site in a social tab and when I see one I click on that particular link that takes me to right there where I am mentioned at. Try that, maybe that will help you too. |

@suny Are you talking about email notifications. I have disabled them. I get to see their replies individually but when I want to respond then I have to go through the process that I have mentioned in my post. You cannot reply then and there. |

@bestwriter exactly that’s where I meant because I never come and reply unless I see a notification. I have created a new tab just for this purpose. |

@suny I too get notifications but here – that orange strip.That is how I was able to respond here but to get you I had to go right down where your comment is. This subject does not have many responses yet but some run into several pages.

Oh I will be posting about that too, good thing I able to see this. I have the same issues as I get used to receiving replies on Forum and I will go directly to the posts that I was mentioned. In here, I will look around for the one who mentioned me then I can able to read their comments or message. Maybe I get used to working at Forum coin that when someone gave me a reputation point, I will get directly to the message where I was marked a reputation. I wish this site has its option. |
