After many days of disappointments and frustrations, finally an Indian female badminton player P.V.Sindhu made the country proud by reaching the finals of the Olympics.
It is
1)First Indian player(Male/Female) to reach the finals of Badminton event.
2)First Indian Women player to reach the finals of any sports so far.
And more stats

A great moment for India- a medal assured and I am confident she will give her all the best to win the Gold medal.

oh , I didn’t watch the female Indian badminton match.

Yesterday I had watched Indian male single player badminton match with China

It was a good match with lots of smacking the shuttlecock.

However, during the last few minutes, China caught up and won.

But I must admit, I am happy that India have great badminton players too

@PEEUSH TRIKHA  That’s really cool. Even I missed that semi final match, but I guess there is final today. So hope I am getting time for watching final today. I have to see it from office though. Lol. 

That’s really good that someone from our country reached to final match. I hope she will do well in final. All the best to her.

This time all girls are doing good. Two medals are from girls only. Good to see them performing well.

Yes @shaloowalia we are also expecting the Gold from here, but reaching so far is also an achievement.

Yes @peachpurple India has been producing good Badminton players for past many years.

Oh I had just saw the finals.

Too bad that Spain won the gold medal but at least India got Silver, better than nothing!

I am very happy an Indian badminton player P.V.Sindhu  reached in final beating her opponent All must be happy on this victory because her labor brings fruit. I congratulate P.V.Sindhu.
