There is no information for how much amount the cheque was. We all know pretty well there is a per day limit and also per week limit. If the cheque issued is for more than these limit and does not cover these norms I think they might be the reason for rejecting the cheque under ‘insufficient funds’. Better you take care of these issues and I hope the problem can be sorted out easily.  Issuing a cheque is nothing but drawing money from your bank account. But, you can not draw more than Rs.10,000 per day and more than 24,000 per week.
