“What If” Your Ancestors Did Things You Were Ashamed Of.
This is old news but the moral of the story applies to all of us. If your ancestors owned slaves would you ask other people who knew that fact, to keep it quiet? Several months back there was a huge buzz on Facebook about the fact that the actor Ben Affleck asked PBS to hide the fact that his ancestors owned slaves. Really?? Hide that fact? Really??? These are my thoughts on the matter.

| Happy to say our family has no bad record in the community where we live in particular and in our country in general. Our father was a retired military official and my mom a public school teacher.They are both models in our community and we children follow their footsteps. |
He asked PBS to do what? WHAT???!!! Our PBS?? The Public Broadcasting Service. The PBS Kerry Washington (“Scandal”) says is the source for “intelligent communication” (or something like that). The PBS that the public knows and respects – that is one of the most reliable, resourceful, trustworthy broadcasting providers IN THE WORLD!! He asked them to do what??! Somebody slap him!!!
