There are few memories i want to forget and never think about it in my lifteme, but to my great displeasure those memories pops out atleast 3 times a week. worse, sometimes those memories transforms into a dream during my sleep. Thinking about those bitter memories makes me feel negative about everything i do and it takes quite a bit time to come out of it. I only hope i could find a solution to weed out those memories once for all. Any of you guys have a solution for this.

I think the reason being when we have bitter experience. We want validation for our bitter memory from same instance all the time. And it doesn’t happen. Then our mind tries to find the same experience all over again to validate our claim of “if you do this then this will happen”. Instead of following that pattern, it helps to spend time creating better memories. Most likely this helps in making our life lot better.

Personally speaking, we can’t forget bitter things in life because it was embedded in our brain engrams. It wasn’t our heart that will interpret this but the hypothalamus of our brain. No matter how bitter things happened, we can able to learn something from it. There is no perfect world and we just need to deal with it. That’s a good point for humans. They can choose what is right or wrong for them.

Some people linger to such bad memories. It is not healthy to be hooked up with such misery. We need to learn in moving on and forget the past. It might come back but we have the will to brush it off from our minds. I always think of better things will happen after the bitter memories in life.
