Niume is a writing site that I recently discovered. Minimum redemption is ten dollars. One earns $1 for 100 views. I have joined the site but I am not too active there. I am waiting to hear if someone has been paid there.

I also joined Niume recently. They pay $1 for 1000 views. It says on their help page:

every time your post makes 1,000 views you will make $1.

But posts do not need to be long and the community looks vibrant

Sounds like a good site at least there are two people who have confirmed what they pay but how long does it take to get that 1$? Wallia you say that you get 1$ for  100 views and dawnwriter says 1000 views so which is which. I will wait and hear more about it before I join. And will also take some time and check it out. Thanks for sharing.

@ shaloo walia  Even I am confused. You are saying 1$ for 100 views and another user is saying its 1000 views for 1$. So it is confusing. I guess you missed one zero. Not sure as I am not member of this site so far. Suny told me about it and I was about to join. But these days I am having more work load here offline and also travelling.  So I haven’t joined this site yet. Have you posted articles on it? What is your experience? Is it good to try out as per you?

@shaloo walia, hehehehe so confusing, which is right 1000 views or 100 views. There are so many sites that emerged this year. Let us hope by next year there are better sites paying better to witers. There are so many sites that seem using the writers work and have them enjoy higher income; whereas, the real owners only earn some cents. That is so unfair and injustice. How I wished I am expert so I can create my own site, hehehehe, ambitious me.

Thanks for reading.

@shaloo walia, we are still waiting here as to the real number of views in that site that could earn us $1? It seems misleading because you said 100 views $1, but dawn writer said 1,000 views $1 and you told before her only 100 views for every $1. Sorry to ask again.Perhaps you are very busy in the other sites for no one has corrected the figure. I hope that you earn more there in Niume site.

@cely  I have checked out the site. As far as I got the information it is 1$ for 1000 views. Same rate as LB. Here also we get 0.001$ per getting view. So it is same on that site too. 1 cent per view is quite hard rate to provide by any site so I guess @shaloo walia  wrote it by mistakenly. This may happen from any one. No problem.

September 25, 2016 at 2:40 pm

I forgot we are getting $0.001 cent per view at LB too, I always remember we get a fixed pay for an article. So, I guess it’s better pay here at LB.

Yes, I remember reading it is $1 for 1000 views at Niume. It seems to be a very good looking and professional site, with proper FAQ section as well. Moreover, their referral program sounds attractive, $1 for a referral.

But I don’t really understand what it means by the post should have a minimum of 5 lines of text. Is 5 lines 5 paragraphs or 5 sentences? So, does word count matter?

I think if we are to write at the site, we need to study more too as there are different terms, such as sphere, hype, which I do not quite understand, but I have not really look into them yet.

@dawnwriter It is good to hear that the community is vibrant. It is nice to find a good site that pays and friendly community as well.

@Lee Ka  Thanks for providing more information. I have not checked out that much information. 1$ for one referral is too much. Is it true? I guess @shaloo walia is having one or more referral on that site. Not sure though. So I guess she can tell more about it. If it is true then yes referral program is much more attractive. I would love to try it though I am never good in getting referrals. Lol. And yes those 5 lines sounds confusing. So it would be great to get all these information from already member of that site. Let’s see.

I am a member of Niume. It is easy to post there as they just need five lines along with a photo or video link. Referral money is also valid and the minimum is 10$. it is worth a try and it is there since 2012 but just started to pay revenue share as of now. A lot of bloggers there along with famous artists and all. It is not the usual content site but more like a social network

@ naruto100 It is 1000 views for 1$. I am sorry for my typo mistake earlier. It’s referral program is indeed lucrative. You get 1$ per referral if the referrals writes a post on the site.

I have written a detailed review about Niume on my blog if anyone wants to check it out.

Dawnwriter’s Blog

I hope we can share links to our blogs here. On the whole, I feel that Literacy Base offers some minimum money for our posts, on Niume, we need to share and depend upon views. some. Posts there can be very short and can keep on accumulating views. Here there is minimum length and we have no control over our posts once we publish.

Personally I intend to write on both sites. They are two very different flavours and each site has its own charm. Do check out my blog and let me know if you agree or disagree with my review.

I joined…I have made 6c and have 60 views.

September 29, 2016 at 2:50 am

Dawnwriter that’s like saying each view is worth $o.oo1. I’m not sure if that is a good thing. So if your post makes less than 1,000 views then you just don’t get any of the proceeds from it. Nah, I think I will stay away from this one.

kaylar Seriously you have only made $0.06 with 60 views? Oh my! That doesn’t look promising at all.

@evilelf  That is exactly how much we get paid on Niume. $1 for 1000 views. But we do not need to reach 1000 views for every post to get paid. Let’s suppose you post three articles there. One gets 500 views, another one 300 views and the last one 400 views. Total views=1200, which means you get $1.2

Earnings on Niume are slow unless you are very active on social media and share your posts a lot. But the good point is that your posts do not have to be very long. I have submitted 9 posts there and have earned 53 cents. That’s almost 6 cents per post.
