There are two different schools which teach us different theories about self love. One school says that loving yourself means you know your own value and you should not care what others think about you. To confirm their view point they add, if you care for others as to what they think about you that is nothing but waste of your precious time.
This school has a clear view on its belief that if you don’t love yourself or have faith in your qualities then none else is going to believe you. They go to extent of telling you if you have love spend it on yourself first.
The other school of thought says that self love is fine but to the extent where it doesn’t lead you to arrogance. One should accept himself with all his good and bad qualities, which is must for his own progress.
There is another point that we should keep in our mind that if we try to be assertive with our thought, good or bad or try to make others believe that that your view points are best and everyone must follow them. That brings you to the category of villains.
Now that you have read both the views and by this time you must have reached to a conclusion. But most of us have reasons to believe that falling in love with own self is fine but it’s still better if we learn to share part of it with others especially with those who appreciate and love you. Love yourself but not to the extent you find yourself as an arrogant.
Be positive for yourself but do not go to the limit where you fail to see the existence of others. The best way to respect others is to avoid complaining about everything which you do not like in others but try to understand their views too.

I always think the golden rule. Never try things that you don't want other do unto you. But I stopped mingling who always put me down. I don't need somebody to rule my life.If they can't accept for who I am, then I let them go.I have my personal principle. That is, "If hate me, the more I hate you."
