Writing for Money or a Hobby Writer

Copyright allrights reserved by peachpurple

Freelance writers and home based writers are often

questioned by their friends and family members about

their writing passion.

“Are you writing for money or as a hobby?”

“Writing is a waste of time” that reply came from

my hubby

“You are crazy! Writing alone can’t even feed a decent

meal for your family!” that reply came from my friends

While others just snickered, smiled with disagreement

or just gave me a “You are nuts!” facial expression with

 words.

Whether you hold a full-time job, a part-time job,

a student, a housewife or a retired person,

each writer has his own reason to venture down this

 writing passion.

Writing for money

There are tons of writing online sites that help writers

 to make money.

You can earn yourself with coins, points or credits for

each article posted, comments, complete writing

assignments or projects and other participated

activities.

Hence, writing has become a job for writers, a work

that an individual writer does for full-time or part-time.

This is a job that requires hard work, passion and

consistency.

Once you had step your foot into this boat, you could

either put your heart and soul into writing 7days a

week, 12 hours a day or write a post when you are in

 the mood.

In order to succeed in your writing gig, you have be discipline yourself, make several research on the title and

contents before you write up your own article.

That is what I called “work”.

You have to pay some effort, sacrifice your precious

time with your family, friends and kids for your work.

By the end of the month, you are being paid, either

through Paypal, Bitcoins or Payza, whatever payment

choices that are available of each site.

Hence, you can conclude that write for money does fit

in here nicely.

You don’t write any post for free, you write for money,

you want money and you need money.

You can redeem your earnings when you had reached

 the minimum payout amount.

Do you feel the eager, the excitement when you are

entitled to hit the Redeem button?

I do!

Hobby Writer

For some reason, I do agree that some writers do write

on their own blog for passion not for making money.

This is called a Hobby Writer.

A person who writes articles without being paid for his

hard work, who writes for free are gifted people.

A hobby writer has a lot of time in hand.

He is never in a hurry to reach his daily goal, his work

 online.

This is due to the fact that a hobby writer is not trying

 to make money from writing.

A writer very seldom would finish his writing task , he

takes his own sweet time to write tons of short stories,

recipes or rants of daily life.,

If you write a post in a few days, does not sit in front

of the laptop 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, never

thought of checking your earning daily, you are a hobby

writer.

Conclusion:

Honestly, I write for money.

I am not ashamed to admit this fact.

I needed money too as many other writers do.

Hence,  I had decided to turn my daily recipes which is

one of my hobby in baking and cooking into a money

making hobby.

I focused on writing recipes that I enjoyed and had

tried out on my own.

There are many ways to make money with your hobby,

writing is the easiest for me .

I like it !

    • Yes, I write for money too. I do not deny that once a site stops paying, i will leave.
I am very frank to admit that the more money offered, the more motivated I will be in writing.
Perhaps when LB is established, and advertising revenue is stable, it can afford to pay us much more.

    • I write for money too. I am writing on my own websites too where I am not earning any money for now but I plan to monetize them someday.

    • Truly, I write for money too. Money is the oil that lubricates writing. It motivates the writer to write more! So, it's pertinent to note that writing becomes a hobby when the writer earns from it. I believe you agree with me.

    • Just like you say many people don't believe that writing can be a good earner if you put your heart to it. Many will that's just a total waste of time coz all you earn are peanuts how does that help you. I have seen some of my friends to great things with earnings from writing, I am one of those people who never believed in writing until I started earning, it w asen't much because I was doing it as a side thing. Am sure if it was the only thing that I need throughout the day I would be very far. For me right now I write to earn some extra money not for passion.

    • I am not going to sugar coat the statement. All I can say is that I do write and gain extra cash. Some people don't think the same thing. I had been doing this just to share my thoughts and earn extra. That's the good thing.

    • I think every one must write for earning because we sell our birth traits to any company and get some money in return. Writing for hobby is a coax for others. Those who write for hobby do not write for any site they just write poetry and short stories and nothing else.

Always write for money not for hobby keep in mind because, creative writing is just like a child and a child is the production of some labor that parents make and how parents can give their child free to other yes, every parents send their children to work to earn money of the labor.

Just like we sell our labor not for hobby but for money. From our labor they earn suppose earn percent they give two or three percent thus both enjoy because one does labor and the other gives us platform to make labor.

Always do labor using agift birth traits
To earn money labor opens earning gates

    • Well i write a little bit for both reasons. It is more of a hobbie. I write so i can pass some time and have fun. I do enjoy writing. I love writing about past experiences i have had or things that i am passionate about.

On the other hand it is always good to get a reward for doing something we love to do. Writing isn't something i would use as a full time job because it is no easy task to get the amount we need to live off of just by writing. The passive income is, however, good for when we want to treat ourselves. This is a good way to "save money" The money coming from your hobbie can get you those things that you desire and the money you get from you full time job will be what you live off of.

    • I do write for money only. I want money which I could not have, as much as I can. I want want to fill my passion, my desires, my expenditure, my house and for my family. I am selfish and money minded. Yes. I am. Why should I write for you? Are you not reading and enjoying it? I am making you happy which you can never have in the open market. Still, I am demanding only pennies. Please keep in mind a writer makes you happy for pennies and there is nothing to shame about.
