Listverse, in short, pays you $100 for a list of… whatever! As long as that “whatever” includes minimum ten items, with some two paragraphs each.
They aren’t looking for lists containing sports or personal stories, but about things people -readers- may find interesting, amusing, related to science, etc.
I, from time to time, look for information about other sited where I can write and earn some money, and this is not the first time I have read about Listverse.
I haven’t still sent them any list (article), but who knows! The question is that one of their requirements is, and I’m copying and pasting : “you just need to have English equal to that of a native speaker” … and I don’t! 🙂
Another requirement is that the only way the pay is via “Paypal”. So, if you are not able to have a Paypal account (maybe because it isn’t supported in your country), they clearly ask for no requests of alternative payment methods.
Anyway, although I think Listverse is not for me, this information could be useful for any of you, readers, that’s why I’m posting it here.

You mention some great writing job leads here! This is the reason I encourage my fellow writers to hone their skill and learn all they can about SEO and content promotion. Most of these freelancing jobs will pay quite well per post, but they want to see your writing samples and a resume of your experience and skills. They may also want to see whether you have a good following on sites like Twitter.
No matter how well you think you write, if you lack the knowledge and skills the client is looking for you won't get the job.
I had heard of this site but have not heard any proof of payment yet.

I have written several lists for Listverse and I was paid $100/list, just as they said.
But I noticed that these days, the entry requirements is high and they are more likely to accept lists from writers that have written several lists for them than new writers that are just trying to break in.
