Mr President, continue firing from all cylinders!!!
Stern-looking and fully armed men should accompany the EFCC operatives to Osborne Tower. Also, Ibrahim Magu needs more security fortification. Those who feel jeered and dissatisfied with the rave of ransacking of this questionable building should not hesitate to sue the federal government for violation of rights. No one is stopping them from doing so.
Is it not nauseating and pungent when some of our people are blindly defending the rights of the occupants of the said property? I see nowhere the government has infringed on their rights. We are firmly in support of the government’s move. We cannot sacrifice national interest on the altar of right to private ownership.
In 2001, after the attack on the World Trade Center Twin Tower, the United States government embarked on some clandestine moves by intercepting some call lines. The American communication giant, AT&T, was swiftly sued by some disgruntled Americans for allowing the government intercept their calls. The government responded, basing its argument on national security concern, and won the litigation. The federal government has not contravened any law with this move. I see no reason for apprehension or fear. If you have no skeleton in cupboard, welcome the EFCC into your house, and let them search.
Again, if you are not okay with this, do not hesitate to go to court. Period!
Just act fast
Time waits for no one
