Woes of those with the Whats App Application

Upgrades for the sake of upgrades is what I detest the most. I am adamant about what gadgets to own and how far I would want to go to upgrade them.

What I have noticed is those who are obsessed with upgrades actually do not use those additional features that they get to use. For one thing no one has the time to fiddle with those features and also not every added feature provides the kind of entertainment one looks for.

Manufacturers of these gadgets have to find a way to earn money and that is the only purpose of coming up with upgrades and many get fooled and are trapped into buying them.

Many of my friends have been egging me to go for a mobile that allows downloading the WhatsApp application. I vetoed it. I just do not like Apps of any kind anyway.I prefer going through the normal Internet  connections that let me get access to whoever or whatever I want.

Fast forward……………..I get complaints from owners of WhatsApp Applications. They say their inbox is loaded with so much stuff that it takes them hours to pick wheat from chaff. Yes. Most of it is Chaff. Since it is easy to upload images and write messages, many will send pictures of their darling babies, their flowers, and even loads of pictures that they clicked while they were  on holidays.

While we have a choice on FaceBook  whose posts to like or read here at WhatsApp they sit pretty in the inboxes of those victims. They cannot ignore those who have sent stuff  and if they do bad blood will be created and I understand many have already got bad blood as they did not say ‘Wow!! great pictures’ or some such uttering even though they would not have even seen those messages.

The moral of the story is before plunging into  anything and spending thousands one should wait for reports on the usefulness or otherwise of owning something that will later lead to disappointments and frustrations.
