Why in India girl child is not safe?

We all know that Women have been subjected to injustice since ages. Some people feel that birth of girl child may lower their status in society. There is an extreme desire for boy child among some sections of our society.

People who live in extreme poor condition often think that girl child would cause more economic hardship to them.Social evil of dowry system further worsens situation. Some people think that they will have to arrange for huge dowry for her marriage.

Illiteracy is leading of all social evils. Illiterate people are ignorant people also,& not able to judge their actions in right perspective.

Dowry system refers to custom of paying money & other valuables to groom’s family at time of marriage. This tradition was probably introduced to give financial assistance to newly wed couple. However, often, it is seen that greedy family members of groom’s family demand huge amount of money at time of marriage. Dowry is viewed as huge burden by parents of girl,child. (

The women need to empowered. A woman has every right to give birth to baby. Girl child is a blessing of God. Just give her chance, & she will make you proud with her achievements.

Every citizen of civilized society should be made aware of fact that girl child is as important as boy child. If she gets right opportunity, she can provide economic support to family & help them to come out of poverty level.

Education raises consciousness of a person. The mental pattern in favor of society should be transformed. This is time for historic changes.

Girls just like their counterparts, they deserves true freedom & equality. All children, girls & boys equally, deserve to be treated with love & respect. When we truly treat someone with love, and we respect their autonomy & help them to achieve very best that they can.

And Female children are often most at risk when it comes to poverty, lack of education & violence. And Female children are also at risk from the gendered threats such as the female foeticide, forced marriage, and gender based violence, and child marriage. As such, it is important to take care of a girl children & to give them all of opportunities that they need to succeed in life.

We belong to modern generation of humanity. We seek an environment where every human being is considered free. We seek an environment where every unborn child is the welcomed without any gender bias.

Save the Girl Child is social initiative in India to fight against practice of female foeticide.Initiative also aims are protecting, and safeguarding, supporting, & educating the girl child.
Thanks to our Indian government they are helping womans alot.

Woman are doing good in all fields.They are doing better than men.Even today’s woman are riding taxi also.

Girl should get equal access to educational resources of school.
There should be separate toilets for girl children at schools.
There is need for shift in mental attitude in favor of equality between boys & girls.

The belief that only male child can support parents during old age does not hold true in today’s context. girl can take care & support her family as well.

Family members of girl child should come forward to protect her rights, both within & outside her home.
She should never be engaged as child labor.

Physical abuse & harassment of girl child should be dealt strictly.guilty should be punished as per law.

Doctors & other medical professions should be encouraged to behave responsibly.
And they should never indulge in any mal practices such as prenatal sex determination.
