Why Do People Get Insecure?

Some people has their own insecurities. You know your own insecurities for yourself. You know what you want but you can’t have it. You know your ability but you want to become what others can do.

Insecurity is the lack of confidence of what you can, what you have, and what you can do. Insecurity is comparing one’s self to other people. If you are insecure, you tend to compare your skill to others. You tend to ask “WHY IS HE OR SHE CAN DO THAT BUT I CAN’T?” Insecurity happens when you doubt yourself and if you are vulnerable.

Insecurity will just destroy us. It can only cause you stress, distraction, and focus. It will only make you worry about your things and you probably get upset.

If a person is insecure, there is a possibility of treating others badly. Sometimes, insecurity can also ruin a relationship of a couple. An example is if a wife feels like she is not beautiful, she may always think that her husband will look into more beautiful than her. Or if her husband has a beautiful co-worker, she might end up always doubting her husband and that will surely cause a fight between them.

Why do you get insecure? You shouldn’t be because everyone of us is unique. We had our own personality, beauty, talents, skills, knowledge, and ability. Every one of us can do things that others cannot do. You may be very good in singing while others are not. They may be good in dancing but you are also great when it comes to acting. Everyone also has its own weakness.

Do not be insecure because you are beautiful in your own way. You are who you are. Insecurity happens but you should take it as a challenge to do better. Take it as a step to move forward and discover your own strength that others don’t have.
