This is best philosophy of Maurice Freehill. I like this so much that I decided to blog this for the sake of those big one yet afraid of the light. This philosophy is a thought-provoking philosophy that if you do not understand this fully, in dept you can never get the closer interpretation of this. After you read this, you may like to share your understanding too for the benefits of all. Have you noticed or observed some friends afraid of truth? Why is man called foolish if afraid of light? I strongly agree with this philosophy for there are people despite knowledge about the immorality of their action, still they continue doing it. As if they are afraid to face the reality. One concrete example is you are married and you are having an illicit affair with another woman. You do not like to listen to advice of your family and friends, in short, you act like a fool. You are married. Your wife is faithful to you. You also have young kids needing you to come home on time to play with you and be hugged by you, but you do not feel them for you cling to other woman. You are a fool continuously cheating your wife and children, and if time comes they know about your illegal and immoral affair, you will surely lost a family. They will hate you and curse you until death invites you.

We cannot call a child fool if afraid of the dark. He is so innocent. He believes on what mature people tell him. A child‘s mind is empty so no one can ever say he is a fool if afraid of the dark. When we are young, our parents and elder siblings in the family, terrify us through telling us horror stories , so we can go to bed early hehehe. I cannot forget my sister keeps on telling me to go to bed early because there are dwarfs roaming around to punish young children still awake.LOL. I was a kid so I was so certain that there are dwarfs. It is not advisable for elder sister or brother to inculcate onto minds of their young brother and sister about false stories because that degrades the self esteemed of the kids. They have to be told with honest words and actions. You should inculcate onto their minds good manners and right conduct and right values so when they grow those would serve as their guide and inspiration. Sometimes we cannot avoid saying a child fool for no matter how you tell there is no witch, still he keeps on insisting there is, so you feel cranky at this point and may want to spank him for being a fool. But he is too young to defend himself compared to mature individuals who already have ample knowledge and experiences and continue doing so foolishness.

Further, those mature people despite knowledge of laws that govern immoral and illegal actions, still they continue doing some of that kind without fear of the laws for they do not like change. That is what they are afraid, the change, and such are the light that guides their fate towards the right path, which they are afraid to look at. Moreover, there are individuals afraid to see the light because that light will evade them from doing illegal activities as the source of their living. They cannot escape the law, and sooner or later they will be captured and pay the crime in jail. These criminals are not helpless beings, they are only lazy and get influenced with illegal drugs so instead of seeing the light persistently refusal so be it. Engaging with illegal activities would not end in success, but usually death or prison cell. Never be a fool to feel afraid of the light because light allows us to see the realities of life we are always facing with. Light allows us to see the wide horizon so we can decide the best decision to follow. Light helps us see fertile and vast lands source or better production and consumption of the right produce. There is falsity of feeling afraid of light, it sounds funny, right? What makes you afraid of light when you are not blind to see the reality? The answer is yours.
